Polished @ Greenridge — Local services in Greenville

Horrible service. My friend went in to get her nails done today since she have never had problems with Polished @ Greenridge before. She asked for nail art on her acrylics. After the lady tried twice they still looked horrible and nothing like the picture she showed. The shape was terrible and the lady doing her nails cut her with the nail file. On top of that she added glitter to cover up how bad they looked. !!(She never asked for glitter)!! She ended up having to pay full price for them and they looked NOTHING like the picture. She ended up going back to kindly ask for a refund, gift card for another time, or a different appointment so that they could be fixed. Their responds to this was unprofessional and straight out rude. They told her they would only give her ten dollars back after consulting between each other while she was standing right there. Then they proceeded to grab her hand and wipe it off without asking for her permission. The remover stung her cut and they never apologized or showed any signs of sympathy towards the situation. (They charged her for the removal even though she never asked for one). I first hand also had a very unprofessional experience while I got my acrylics done earlier this week. The guy doing my nails was constantly stopping and very distracted by his phone. Every few minutes he would pause and call someone or stop to answer texts and other random things. As a customer that has a busy schedule and is spending all that money on nails, I would expect to feel prioritized during my visit. If I could give this place NEGATIVE stars, I would. Never been, but made an appointment based on excellent reviews. My appointment was at 5:30. I arrived at 5:20 and the waiting room was full. The owner looked up at me and I told him I had an appointment at 5:30. He advised me to pick my color, which I did, then sat and waited another 10 minutes as I heard just about everyone in the waiting area say they did not have an appointment. At 5:30, the owner sat 4 of us in pedi chairs...3 of whom arrived before me but did not have appointments. No water in the bowls, we just waited. At 5:45 I was about to leave, but one of the techs came and filled my bowl. Thinking he was going to start my pedi, I put my feet in. 5 minutes later (now 5:50) he went and worked on someone's mani. There were only 3 techs doing pedi's at the time, none of which was anywhere near polish. 5 of us were waiting on pedi's and only 2 had water in our bowls. I would have waited at least another 15 minutes before they even started on mine and that would have been 35+ minutes after my appointment time. I made an appointment because I had time constraints. I got here at 4:30 because they closed at 6pm on sundays! I told the man that I needed a fill in and a pedicure! He asked what type I said acrylic. Go on I waited for 1 hour in the lobby and like 35 minutes in the pedicure seat before I was assisted and my pedicure actually started! Halfway through my pedicure I was informed I could not get my nails done today due to them being SHORT STAFFED and only one person here did pedicures! I advised them that today was my only day off.. I even told them that I had painted over my nail to try out a nail color on my nails. Their resolution was to take off all my polish instead of doing my nails! Now I have to walk around with lifting ugly nails for ANOTHER 7 days based on the manager! However several people after me came in and got acrylic nails done! When the girl who did my pedicure told the manager why I wanted to get my nails done he started waving his head around with an attitude and speaking in his native tongue! It is now 6:52 and my toes are drying! This was a very very bad experience.. if he knew they only had one person to do my nails when I came in he should have said it and I could have spent my time waiting to actually get serviced!
