First and foremost, Lululemon is great, their products are outstanding and worth the cost. That said, the Greenwich location needs to get their act together. No one greets you there and you have to try and figure out which one is an employee to get help. Regardless, around Thanksgiving, I decided to go gift shopping and purchased 3 jackets and 2 pairs of tights totaling over $500, I went twice over that weekend. Again, in my opinion, the product is well worth it. At checkout, both times I asked for boxes for these gift purchases, I was informed they didnt have any boxes but they were on order and to call later in the week. I called later that week and was told that they were coming in that day and to call later, I called later and the salesperson states they are coming in the next day, to call again then. I call again and again.... THIS WENT ON FOR 3 WEEKS. Finally, before Xmas, during one of my calls I asked why they were giving me the runaround with boxes, the salesperson states over the phone that they did get boxes in, only small ones, and I could come in and they would give me one. I stated I have 5 gifts I purchased, the salesperson said that I would have to bring in my receipts (which I have) and they would give me 2 boxes. HUH?! At that point I gave up. It was no longer worth buying presents at Lulu. So Right before Xmas, I am in NYC and spot a Lulu store on 3rd Ave. I went in and was greeted and I asked for boxes, they simply asked how many I needed. After receiving the boxes, I told them the story above. The salespeople laughed at the silliness of Greenwich and the 3rd avenue store manager actually apologized for the Greenwich locations behavior (which reminds me, I have to give them a 5 star rating and I didnt even buy anything from them). The convenience of having a Lulu store in your own town is great but if it means no one helping you at the store, getting the runaround and being hassled, I think I may only buy Lululemon when I am back...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI recently visited and loved my purchase! Michael, an amazing associate, helped me outāhe was incredibly attentive and made the shopping experience so enjoyable. I ended up getting a black Lululemon set and some shoes thanks to his great recommendations.
However, I had a somewhat awkward experience at checkout. While Michael was communicating with the cashiers about my items, the man at the register (dark hair, kind of looked like Jason BaldoniāLMAO) made an unkind comment, saying something like, āI donāt know why Michael does those weird hand gestures like that.ā It felt unnecessary and dismissive.
I want to reiterate that Michael was amazing! His kindness and professionalism stood out. But that comment from the cashier really bothered me. Mocking someoneās mannerisms is unacceptable. Because of that, I can only give 4 stars. I believe everyone deserves respect, plus seeing team work and kindness towards coworkers make the shopping...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreJust a bad experience with an employee named Kayla at the greenwich store. I actually love the store and the clothes. I am a tennis instructor in Westchester and so is my husband so we have the instructor discount. Usually they let me use the discount when buying gifts for him - since he has the discount (especially during holidays). I understand the rule says that you can only use the discount if you are at the store. The nice lady who was at the cashier was explaining me that in a nice way. I asked her if there was any chance she could make an exception since it was a gift and I wanted to be a surprise. Kayla who was working on the cashier next to us jumped in the conversation with a super attitude āWHO LET YOU DO THAT? WHAT IS HER/HIS NAME?, THEY SHOULDN'T HAVE DONE THATā. Anyways, I understand the rules and she just didnāt have to be rude about it. Totally ruined my experience with a brand...
