We visited this particular Walgreens to pick up my fiance's prescription. The pharmacy associate with black hair and face piercing cashed us out. It was a terrible experience. Extremely rude, very loud, and overall more concerned with herself getting home (she called for a manager while helping us to assist the guests behind us so she could go home - we heard it all) than helping us.
My fiance handed her both an insurance card and a discount card, and she rudely told him she couldn't do both, and repeated herself loudly when he didn't understand. So, he hands her the insurance card and it fails to go through. It might have been an error on our part, but it was absolutely unnecessary for her to say that he didn't have insurance as loudly as she did. Everyone in line could hear her, it was impossible for them to not have been able to. It was humiliating. He asked her which one she was looking at, and she repeated herself even louder. So, my fiance hands her the discount card, she calls her manager, and she tells us our total, we pay and leave.
We were both very upset with her. Not only had she humiliated us by speaking so loudly about the insurance, but she had a nasty attitude the entire time we were with her. She didn't take any time to explain to us the possible reasons why the insurance didn't work, and she rushed through the whole ordeal.
When we got home, we checked the insurance online and it was still active. If it didn't cover it because we had been there too recently in the past picking up the same prescription, she should have said that, instead of exclaiming that we plainly just didn't have insurance.
We will not be ordering...
Read moreJust left the store tonight Dec29th. Drive through the drive-thru window was first in line at 8:52p.m. I can see one pharmacy tech at the counter waiting on a young man when I drove up (although they were laughing and joking and he didn't walk away with any medication). Then she began waiting on another young man same exact thing no medication in hand laughing joking second pharmacy tech walks up and begins having a conversation they're all standing there laughing and joking. Mind you minutes have gone by and I'm still sitting at the window with their backs turned to me and no one has acknowledged me. All this while the mic inside was LIVE so yes I could hear So I lightly toot my horn ONCE because at this point it's even closer to 9:00 they're closing time and I don't want them to turn around and say I can't be waited on because they're closed. The young woman with black hair in a bun and black bands tattooed around her arm comes to wait on me. Rude nasty attitude as though I am bothering her. I get my medication and say thank you have a good night to her she doesn't even acknowledge I exist. Stop hiring these low class ATTITUDINAL KIDS to run your business. I already switched from one Walgreens because of bad service this is my second one and next time I'm switching completely out of the Walgreens...

Went in for a scheduled vaccine 10min before appointment time & was asked to be seated, no problem. We understood it’d be at least a half hour. Not the issue. We waited 45 minutes without any update so I asked what the ETA would be on the appointment to only be told the vaccine was not available… after already checking in & filling out paperwork… and was told to wait another 20-25min. At this point we had been there for almost an hour and a half!! That time came & still no update.
At this same time, an elderly woman who was patiently waiting (had been there before we even got there) for an appointment of her own could hardly get up to the counter herself approached to ask when hers would be available to only be told, “we tried calling and you didn’t answer, so sorry you’ll need to reschedule.” She waited in the seating area longer than we did & was told this… We left! This level of customer service is not okay. All of the customers who waited were patient & no one was giving them issue...
