Honestly this is a very good school. When I attended a lot of people complained about it being "racist" and all about the money. It couldn't be farther from the truth, every single person that said that failed because of their actions not the schools. They were all told what the standards were when they enrolled, And at orientation. They refused to hold themselves accountable and blamed their problems on the school/ staff. People like that don't belong In the industry. When I got my first job in aviation is when I saw just how good the school was. Alot of my Co workers had no idea what they were doing. Yes some of the equipment at the school is dated but that is the best stuff to learn on. If you can't figure it out you will not be able to work on the more advanced modern aircraft. It's thanks to this school I run my own shop in south Florida full time and I am also the only mechanic for a small flight school on the airport. The school Is tough but for good reason, if you can't make it here you won't make it in aviation. From all I've learned from other mechanics I am blessed to have been able to go to school here. All the negative reviews are from little cry babys who can fathom the idea of being held accountable for their actions and have to push the blame on others. Having that attitude and felling entitled to everything will get you nowhere in life and the industry. If you are one of these people please stay out of the industry you will only get people killed, And unfortunately for you when you do kill someone YOU will be held...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI've read a bunch of the other reviews on here and obviously people are entitled to their own opinions, but they seem biased, unfair and unfortunately misdirected. Like with anything, any rewards obtained in life are directly linked to the hard-work you yourself directly put in. Of course, there are areas in the facilities that can be upgraded and improved on, but at the core of the school, those areas should not come as an excuse to falter and come up short of your certification as an Aircraft Mechanic. This school provides the necessary hours, hands-on tooling, and a facility to put both into practice, which is all you need to obtain said certification. This school harbors genuine gems of human beings across the entire staff, not just the teachers themselves. People like Mr. Singh, Schmitt, Palencia, Ahmed and Arjun are easy to name because they offered wisdom and guidance, and honestly their experience through their careers are priceless and should be very much appreciated. Some of the other reviews feel unfounded, because I put the hard work in, obtained certification, and within a week's time got offered a great position in the Majors! Nothing good comes easy, so use all the tools (including the staff) the school provides to give yourself every advantage to succeed. Practical tooling, access to aviation material and most importantly establish connections and a rapport with your future colleagues. No other school in New Jersey can offer a place where the staff is well connected in the industry of Aviation....
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI am concerned about the behavior of certain individuals, particularly Ahmed, who seems to be operating with an unprofessional attitude and appears to be on a power trip. This kind of conduct creates an uncomfortable environment. The treatment I have received from some instructors, who instead of providing constructive guidance, seem to target or provoke students.
Iām honestly dissatisfied with the quality of education and overall experience of this school. I feel that the tuition fees I have paid do not reflect the value of the education being provided. The lessons are often insufficient, covering only the bare minimum or, in some cases, not providing meaningful content at all. This lack of substance is frustrating and does not meet the expectations that were set upon enrolling.
As paying students, we deserve a more respectful and engaging learning environment where we can expect quality teaching and support that aligns with the tuition fees we are paying. I respectfully request that the institution address these issues and work to ensure that we are receiving the education we are...
