My mother in law and I came in at 8:57 am, which I understand is 3 minutes before they officially open. But they were so kind to let us in even though we were walk ins. Everything seemed normal and great. I showed the girl a style of nail and asked her to keep it short since I have a 1 year old. The nail shape I wanted was ballet, which is more rounded than a coffin and the top is flat. Not once did she ask if I liked the shape, and every time I tried to look at my nails while she was shaping them she kept shaking my fingers or tapping my hand to "relax". So I just avoided trying to look at my nails because at one point I could tell I was frustrating her for trying to look at them. The worst part was when my sister in law called my phone ( keep in mind that she is currently Deployed so I don't get many opportunities to talk to her) and when I grabbed the phone, the lady huffed, and scolded me for trying to answer her call! She said "WHY?!" And I said " I'm so sorry! My sister in law is deployed in Afghanistan, I need to answer her call!" She grabbed my phone from the portable charger and moved it to the other side. I told her again "my sister in law is in the Navy, I don't get to talk to her" the Facebook call lasted less than 1 minute. Across from me my mother in law ( who also rarely gets to talk to her daughter) sees her on the phone and is crying. And I told her that my mother in law "is sad because she missed her daughters call, her daughter is deployed in Afghanistan" and she still rolls her eyes. I'm convinced that she was making fun of her for crying. To end this all off: I pay for both of nails, and I ask her to split a $20, she stalled for a bit and I think she was expecting me to give her the full $20 and I told her I wanted to split it in $5s. I tipped her $10 and too be honest she didn't deserve it due to her lack of sensitivity and lack of professionalism. She NEVER asked me if I liked the shape, she NEVER checked on me, NEVER gave my cuticle oil after I washed my hands, and she ignored what I wanted even though I showed her a picture. See the photos of what I wanted and what I got. Litteraly so disappointed in this woman. Be better. ** if the owner responds back with "you didn't relax your hands" or "your hands were difficult to work with" it's such a cop out considering she kept moving me and adjusting me even though every position she put my arms in was so uncomfortable on my elbows. Balancing my hands on the skinny part of the cusion does not make it easy to relax. I am an licensed cosmetologist and one thing you learn is to work with the client not against them. My recommendation is to go to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have been coming to the same salon for almost a year pretty regularly. I usually always have a great experience. I have used Tina for most of my visits she is great. Unfortunately I'm not currently having a good experience. I called and asked for a fill which I always do. They informed me Tina wasn't available as she wasn't working today. I went ahead with the appointment because I needed to get in and don't have another time to come in. I sat down and they started to file my nails down it was very different then when I have gotten it done any other time. She continues to shape my nails and I asked for an almond shape as I always get. She continued to make a round shape after cutting them down in a square shape. I mentioned this wasn't how it was done previously and another lady told me everyone does it differently. I said okay and continued with the appointment she asked me if the shape was correct and I said no they then asked if I had time to wait for another person to do them I said okay I can wait. Moving forward they talked alot and then patted me and talked to me as if I had done something wrong for asking for what I specifically wanted. They asked if I could wait 15min and I have now been sitting here longer still waiting. They have made me feel bad for asking for the nails I always get. I dint want to pay almost $100 for something I'm not going to be happy with. This has by far been the worst experience. I will be finding a new nail salon which makes me sad because any other time I have had a good experience but this has made me really uncomfortable. I hope moving forward they don't continue to treat...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI called and made a reservation for 3 pedicures and 2 manicures the day that we came. We got there right on time, and told them that one of us actually wanted to get acrylic manicure done. They told her to sit in the seat, and so she did thinking she was going to get her nails done. Me and my other friend went and sat down next to each other, getting our toes done. I was trying to talk to my nail lady and it was hard for her to understand. I asked her how much longer it was going to take for my friend to get her acrylics done, and she said there was only one worker that does acrylics. 10 minutes went by, so I asked again. She said 5 minutes. I asked if she could just get gel manicure done instead, since she was on a time crunch and just wanted gel. She then said that there was no available workers. This is when I reminded her that I had made the reservation earlier today for 3 PEOPLE. Yet there was no one for her to get her nails done. At this point, 30 minutes had gone by. Once 45 minutes had gone by, they said that they could do the acrylics. She told them that she didnāt have enough time anymore and I reminded them that she waited 45 minutes. After my other friend got her nails done, she showed me them and said how her nail girl had pushed her nail into the fan, and hadnāt realized she messed her nail up. We were all so fed up at that point that we just left (after paying of course) but we definitely are not going back there again. Very poor service, bad customer service, and overall...
