They have a new associate named Richard, and he is SO RUDE. I had my four-year-old twins helping put a few items on the belt for check-out, he was acting irritated with this, mind you there was not a line behind us. I noticed that one of them put a sheet of stickers from an end cap in the cart, and took it out so it wouldn’t get placed on the belt as well. I went to put it on one of the pegs to let him continue doing his job, not wanting to talk to him because he was not acting friendly. From behind me, as I was putting the sheet on a peg by the belt, he gruffly—very gruffly—growls out: “Hey. Hey. HEY! Don’t put that there! It takes me hours to put it away!” I’ve worked in retail, and I hardly—if ever—put things where they don’t belong, I’ve also done returns before. But I digress. This experience left a horrible taste in my mouth and could have gone a very different way had he been kinder and less rude about the situation. I had my twins with me and didn’t want to trek them back through the store, if you have kids you know why and what I’m talking about. I understand not wanting an item where it doesn’t belong, but wow. Richard is an absolute jerk, had he been kinder, I wouldn’t have had such an issue. He was rude to my kids as well, they really weren’t doing anything bad, touching a few things on the pegs, and he just growled at them not to touch. If I ever go back into this location as a local, and see him there, I will walk...
Read morei love this dollar tree. the employees at this store are kind, helpful, and hard working. i am so amazed, shocked, saddened and VERY confused by the complaints i see in reviews. there is only a handful of employees that i've encountered (i dont think they have too many that work there), and they are always friendly, will help each customer individually, and are constantly working and running around the store doing 10 jobs each; yet people complain?! i have been to a lot of dollar stores and other dollar trees, and i have never seen any with as much product that they have on the shelves, or in the process of being put away as this store. in fact, dollar tree is the only dollar store where everything is actually only $1, and not crappy cheap products!! to the store managers and employees of the heber city, utah store: your store is great and you all are doing a terrific job. thank you for continuing to be so positive and working so hard, in spite of working in retail amidst those customers that make us all look like rude, self righteous, and narcissistic...

OVERVIEW - 5.0 Came here today with my wife, and her friend as we were passing through on our way to Park City. It was a bright day filled with lots of sun, and we needed sunglasses.
LOCATION - 5 Seems like a good location there near the Walmart. I'm not sure which one benefits more based off their location.
PRICE - 5 It's a dollar store, you can't get much better price than that.
PRODUCTS/SERVICES - 5 It's the luck of the draw with the dollar store, some items are good quality, others are junk. It really depends on what you're looking for. When I buy sunglasses from them, they last a reasonable amount of time.
POINTERS/PERKS - N/A This dollar store doesn't require a key to get in! I think this is a rarity in Utah!
EMPLOYEES - 5 The cashier was friendly and joked around as we were...
