For an average small store kind of off and hidden because of it's common colour scheme matching the buildings next to it, it is an extremely amazing store. I have been here countless times and I will continue to return. Although their shelving and racks are quite cramped together, you can still fit through to view everything, and it's a good thing too! All of their product for sale is amazing and they have plenty of selections for people of all ages. All of their stock is properly organized and easy to find. They have roller skates, skateboards, scooters and sometimes bikes, baseball bats, tennis rackets, boxing gloves, punching bags, swimwear and all of a pool's accompanying accessories like vests and floaties, camping equipment, knives, guns, food, drink, stuffed animal plushes, shoes, anything you need is most likely there. All of their sales assistants are extremely kind and helpful as well! Need a different shoe size? They'll head to the back. Need some advice on which bat or racket you should purchase? They'll be happy to help. Can't get your coupon to load in? They'll help that too. They even make sure to follow all protocol for the sale of weaponry like they should. When I walk in I am always greeted by a safe feeling, so I am always sure that I will walk out the same as I came in. Later that day I seen in fact there was a 20 percent coupon online I could have used if given the correct information. So the next day I called the manager explaining the situation l, asked if I could return the items and then repurchase using the 20 percent coupon he said yes. So when I got there a super rude cashier named Jacob. After I left the store my mother was in line and the cashier Jacob was talking about me saying I’m trying to get over on the system lol my mother asked him to stop since I’m her daughter and not to be saying things when there is a line of customers, I guess he thought she left the store when in fact she grabbed more items to purchase and he was still saying disturbing comments about me while working behind the counter and ringing up customers. Saying I have too much time on my hands. When in fact I have a terminal disease, my time is limited. My mother asked him again to stop speaking about me that way and was literally arguing with my mother. Bay insisted on giving me a store credit which I did not want because store credits always lead to Spending more money. The manager whose name I believe is Jack would not even come out in addressed the situation with me. A clerk was rude and snippy with me. I believe her name was Angelica. The good news is another clerk whose name was Catherine I believe Handle the situation of an upset customer with poise and professionalism . In the end I talk to corporate by phone and the situation was corrected . The corporate person was able to find my lost receipt in her computer in a matter of moments . This was something the store personnel said they could not do. My family will continue to Do business with big 5 only because of Catherine MD corporate person whose name I cannot remember.
