We went to order some delicious Chicken and something to drink. From the time I placed my order to the time we left I felt like we were dealing with Zombies. And this was only 11:00am on a Monday! Monday Blues I guess! I asked for a LARGE SWEET TEA first then a 2 piece chicken Mild with a side of Regular Cajun Fries. I was asked if I wanted Sweet or Unsweetened Tea after I had already told her once. I told her again SWEET TEA please. She said I'll give you, your total at the window. But before we moved up she said, Oh once again may I asked whether you said, SWEET or UNSWEETENED TEA? I said, sure, AGAIN IT'S SWEET TEA! Ok ty. We move up and wait a couple of minutes before the window opens. I was asked again on the drink mam was it SWEET OR UNSWEETENED TEA? I said for the 100th time it's SWEET Tea please! The girl said, sorry about that. Then gave us our chicken order, and left. Window closed, we're still sitting there, then a big girl comes up to the window and asks, "Were you waiting on anything else"? I said, yes our DRINK was never given to us. The first employee came up to us again and asked one last time, Was that Sweet or Unsweetened Tea Mam? Again I told her, it was SWEET Tea the whole darn time. 4x's she asked me on such a small order. She look pretty dumb and spaced out! I was so mad I didn't even want to drink it. The ice was melted and the Tea was warm. We went next door to IN/OUT to get burgers for my husband and kids. And had to ask them for a cup of ice to add to my TEA to make it cold. At least I did get the SWEET TEA! The Cajun FRIES were horrible. They tasted rubbery and hardly any flavor. They almost looked plastic, wilted and cold, The chicken had zero flavor. I mean what happened to that GOOD LOUISIANA TASTING CHICKEN we always found at the PERRIS location? The Chicken here has always just been subpar except for when the Chicken Sandwiches first came out. Now they're basic like nothing special. Chick Fil A has them beat! I will never step foot in this place again. Their damn phone number doesn't even work either! And when you do get through it just rings and rings, no one ever picks it up! What a waste. Read moreIf I could, I'd give the customer service a negative amount of stars. Ordered on the app at 6:09pm, got to the store around 6:45pm. There were at least 20 cars in the drive-thru. I decided to stand in line outside instead. After another 10 mins of waiting, one of the employees came to the door and started to shut it, saying "we're closed", no other explanation. I said, "I ordered on the app about 40 mis ago. Can I just get my order?" He then explained that there was a problem with the fryers and they'd be opening up again in 35 mins. Ok, I had something else to do, so I came back at 7:30pm. A line of cars in the drive-thru again and the lobby still closed. I went to the door and finally got someone's attention and they all motioned to me the store was closed. Ok, so I made my own motions that ordered online. The same kid that closed the store earlier came back out and said "I'll have your order ready in 10 mins." Ok. 20 mins later, a young girl came out of the store and I said, "excuse me!" She continued to walk and pretend she didnt hear me. My daughter then said, "excuse me!" And she mumbled something we couldn't hear. Then she went to her car and went back inside the rear door (she came out the side door) as to not to have to deal with us. Then I saw her inside the store again motioning towards me and laughing with her co-workers. I just wanted to know how to get my money back. I ended up waiting again until almost 9:00pm just to be told they were STILL working on my order. That same young girl was standing in front of the order prep area mocking me to her co-workers again. That was COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL AND THE ABSOLUTE WORST customer service I have EVER gotten. At about 9:20pm I finally got the $73.00 worth of food I ordered and I didn't get any apologies or anything. I will never go back there again. I have told friends and family not to go...

I ordered online today (9/26/24 @ approximately 4:25pm), arrived 30 minutes later and stood in line to let them know I was there for my order and the people in front of me kept trying to order, but the worker at the register (male, black, young teenager, black hair up on top of his head & braces - did not get his name) was ignoring them and went to go talk to people at a table. The people in front of me ended up just leaving. When I got up there, I had to actually get his attention for help, identified myself and he said they were still working on my order (I saw that they hadn't even started).
There were 3 other people waiting for online orders that were complaining of the wait. I ended up waiting there for over 30 minutes more for my order which I took to a nearby table to check to see if was missing 1/4 of my order. I immediately go back up there to let them know and a manager (gray shirt so I assumed, male, black, facial hair, didn't get name), who was very nice, said he would take care of it, but then the first guy that helped us said my order isn't wrong, he packed it himself. I pointed to the table and told him to look himself, everything was right there and we hadn't left yet. He proceeded to go to our bags, but got yelled at by a female manager in the back to leave it alone.
It was almost an hour of being in the actual restaurant tonget our order correct, after ordering it online and arriving 30 minutes later.
Also, while we were waiting, an elderly woman waited even longer than us for her 1 spicy chicken sandwich to receive it frozen (not cold, but actually frozen).
I will never go to Popeyes in Hemet again. They really need to learn customer service skills and business processes. I guarantee this location will not be here...
