I got my hair done here on March 10th. In my consultation with my stylist, I let her know I was brand new to getting my hair professionally done. I had put a red color conditioner on my hair about 4 months prior and was looking to get the red totally covered. I wanted to go lighter brown, but she suggested we go darker, since an at home color conditioner wouldn’t lift well and it would be harder to cover the red. I agreed and again pressed that my #1 goal was to be rid of the red! She said okay and went to mix my color. Upon her finishing, my hair still looked rather red. I didn’t say anything in the moment, thinking maybe it looked more brown in other lighting or I just needed to give it the weekend to decide how I felt about it. I was feeling anxious so I just paid, made an appointment to return thinking we could address it then if I was still unhappy l, and left. Turns out, upon taking an “after” photo and looking at it in other lighting, my hair looked almost identical in color to before my appointment, just a darker shinier red. A few days later, I reached out to my stylist to let her know I was unhappy and asked her if something more could be done to help with the red. It was then, that for the very first time, she told me that if I wanted the red totally gone we would have to do a process that would take hours and cost $100 an hour. It was also then for the first time she told me I would need a professional shampoo to protect the toner she used. I was perplexed, and asked her why she didn’t tell me these things in the salon? I was adamant, and said at least 3 times in our consultation that I wanted the red gone. She did not once mention that the process she had decided on wouldn’t do that, and we’d have to be more invasive. I feel very taken advantage of, as I had told her I’m new to getting my hair done professionally. I expected her to inform me and guide me to get to the goals I wanted to achieve. I would have chosen a different route and spent my money differently had she given me all of the information up front. I asked for a refund as I do not trust her at this point to be upfront with me and I do not trust her to fix it. I trusted her expert opinion and ended up no where near what I said I wanted. She stopped responding to my messages so I emailed the salon with my request and heard nothing. The before and after photos are screenshots taken from videos I took. I’m super bummed about this experience, as the stylists photos on Instagram look amazing, she seems to do great transformations on hair, it just didn’t translate...
Read moreBEWARE!!! I called before I went to find out the price of a full balayage and cut. I believe her name was Kim who told me it would be $150. I specifically asked if that's starting at $150 or if that's for any length, color, thickness, etc. She clearly stated that it is $150 no matter the current state of the hair. Fast forward to getting the service done. The cost for just my hair ended up being $275. I told them I called in and the lady who scheduled me said it would be $150. Of course they said that was the starting price and it only goes up from there, AKA they charge whatever they want to. Conveniently they can't figure out who scheduled me and gave me wrong information and were unwilling to adjust the price to reflect what I was told over the phone. Very disappointed that they refuse to make the situation right when it was their employee who messed up. And on top of all that, my hair turned out a mess. I asked for white blonde and went home a streaky gray. Gray hair at 23 years old is not what I was going for. I had to spend hundreds more to fix that so I could leave the house. Please do us all a favor and don't waste your time and money here. There are plenty of other salons that won't leave you in this mess.
To clarify in regards to below response: before the 20% off the cost of my hair alone (not including the products or tip) was $268 when it should have been $150. My total was $350 - I did not include the products or tip in...
Read moreHad an appointment to get highlights done but walked out with no difference in my hair. Still the same light colored, brassy hair I walked in with. She actually talked me into getting balayage instead of highlights and is more expensive than highlights. Called back the next day to talk to the girl who did it to work something out and they said they would leave a note for her to get back to me. Gave her three days to get back to me so I called again and they made me an appointment with the same girl. I showed up just for her to say it will take FIVE TIMES to get the result I want, when I've been going to other salons and getting the same thing done in one appointment and having other salons comment on how easy my hair color lifts and bleaches. Very disappointed and upset customer and there was nothing they would do about it. Spent over $100 for no difference, show up to an appointment for her just to explain this to me when I've tried getting a hold of her over the phone and not to mention she was very rough with my hair and scorched my head multiple times while...
