Harbor Freight — Local services in Hialeah

I have been shopping at this store since it opened. Lately it has gone downhill customer service wise. Many of the original employees are gone replaced by new employees that most DO NOT speak any English so they can not help, it becomes very frustrating when you show them the add of what you are looking for and they can’t point where it is. Often the items I need are not in stock recently they did not know what a rain check is, now since I have had to get 3 of them they do. I have loved this store from the beginning when it opened now I go in and look for the few people that speak English but often I can’t find anyone to help me. I look forward to the day they have more English speaking employees so I can get in and buy what I need and get help if needed.

Just went in today 6th of June 2022, for a new sale same issue with no English speakers, then one employee tried to help me the other was very frustrated and had no clue of the new sale we all got in our text box as a member. So I said you work here I do not you are looking at the add sent by your company and I need help getting these items. When I ask for help it’s because I can’t find what I need and they seem to be annoyed at helping, I wish the previous employees were back these have got to find jobs where they don’t talk to customers since they cant help. Today I would give this store 1 star and that’s because it’s the minimum otherwise I would give it a negative -5 stars they are bad there are only 2 employees that I know that speak English that do help but naturally they are not there every time I shop. I like HarborFreight but this location is bad customer service the next store is about 30 minutes away way too far unless I am in that area. You are warned. If you speak Spanish then I guess they will help you in this IS Store....

Honestly i will never walk into a place like this again to begin with the manager douglas burkett i went in looking for a specific tool that i had needed also that had bought there before . as i start to explain what i needed he did not let me finish and told me to go to home depot in a very rude way when i told him he told me in a rude way he tells me i told you in a nice way sure as i looked at his hands he had bald up his fist like if he was going to hit me i asked him if he was going to hit me he said no just your being rude i told this clown he was very f ing rude and he seemed to be the manager he told me yes i am you could call corporate they know who am i .... lol its funny how small business are going out and have fools like him running a store i guarantee yoh and any of the people that i know not to do business in that location mr. manager understand its because of mechanics like me your doors are open but hialeah is big and small at the same time and i reside in the area and trust me the 20 years of experience i obtain was not given to me it was earned unlike you to where you migbcht just have got to management level trust me corporate will hear about this also he had loss prevention follow me around the store like if I was going to take anything im in my uniform from...

This harbor freight honestly deserves 0 stars. The inside harbor freight membership that i paid has special deals and it applies to all the harbor freights that i go to. However, this location is the only ridiculous one with the worst employees. They give attitude instead of helping with what their suppose to. I shop alot and they always have free things for the members because that’s what the membership consists of. Thats why i did the membership since i visit frequently it’s a good idea to get something free. But this one every time I go its the same thing they never offer anything. And to inform who ever reads this the other harbor freights knows about this location because customers who are members prefer to go there instead because they go there with the same complaint. Long story short when i explained about the membership because the lady didn’t even know what the membership offers. She acted like I was saying something crazy. Management definitely needs to do something...
