You ever meet those people who shine because they love what they do? That's Teresa.

Let me tell you about Teresa. Teresa took me under her wing from the very beginning after I asked her a question about how a blazer should fit and if it looked good on me. She then inquired more about my shopping needs.

I just got a new job, and for the first time ever, need to dress business casual. She understood the assignment and the color palette I was going for (True / Cool Summer). She helped me establish staple pieces, helped me find a good bra to try on clothes with (which I ended up purchasing) and had me start trying them on. She then gave feed back on the items, helping me to adjust them so they fit correctly (I definitely learned things I didn't know). She also went out on the floor to exchange things, but more importantly, continued to shop for me, grabbing pieces that she thought might look good on me and suit business casual.

When I tell you I was in tears and gave her the biggest hug - I am beyond grateful. I have been out for 8+ hours three other days in this past week trying on so many clothes only to find they didn't fit for one reason or another. Going home empty handed. I was beyond frustrated, but more worrying, my new job starts Monday (in two days).

The relief I feel, the gratitude for Teresa and the excitement I now have to begin working can now take over the worry.

Teresa deserves a commercial and a huge raise or promotion. Her love for helping women feel good in their clothes is palpable. You can tell she genuinely enjoys her job and helping women.

I will be going to this Torrid in the future and only want to shop when she is there. I know this feedback may come across as over the top, some may suspect I know Teresa etc. But I assure you, I have never met her. This feedback is a result of how phenomenal Teresa is at her job. Torrid is lucky to have her.

My wish for her is to be promoted, to be a model for Torrid clothing (if she wishes), to receive major recognition, to receive a raise, or to receive some sort of outstanding notice from corporate etc.

She is one of the rare people you meet that make the largest impact simply by doing something they love. She has no idea how much she just helped me and genuinely changed my life in a seemingly small way.

The last 1.5 years have been extremely challenging for me, I am a newly single mom of four, a small business owner and just spent one year earning my bachelor's degree through WGU, studying 16 hours a day 6 days a week in order to ensure my stability for myself and my kids, as well as my independence.

I am looking forward to my new job and will without a doubt feel confident and professional walking into work on Monday (and every day after).

This bad review is due to Torrid not honoring torrid cash and horrible customer service. I placed a very large order with items to be shipped and picked up in store. Everything was legit through checkout. Less than an hour after I checked out, I received several emails stating all items except for two were out of stock. Well, that was a game changer, I would have NEVER placed the order had I known I was going to be paying full price. Since Torrid cash is $25 off of $50. I ended up paying over $100 for items that was supposed to be $50 because Torrid cash was no longer valid since the items were less, now that the other 5 items were out of stock. I instantly called and asked them to cancel the order and they would not. I called Paypal to dispute and they assured me I would not be charged, but I was still charged for the order. The cashier who checked me out this morning kept calling me Brandon. ... I'm 5'2 and female. Instead of apologizing to me, she acted like she didn't just change my sex and my name for no reason. My order was an online pickup so this was a very short and extremely uncomfortable pickup for me. I should return my purchases and tell my little sister to stop shopping there. I may not tell y'all off, but she will.
