This Zales in Valley Hills Mall customer service is very poor. They use to have great people with wonderful personalities that worked there but not anymore. Please avoid this place . Go to Kays itâs located right across from them, and I think they are owned by the same company. These people walk pass me, and my daughter like we didnât exist, and whenever I did get a person to acknowledge that we were there. She complained the entire time about needing to close right at 6:00 , and they had to change out the sale prices before they could leave.. Finally I said thatâs life. We all canât leave right at six all the time.. mind you I waked in the store at 5:15.. But she definitely had time to walk off and talk to a gentleman that just stopped by to say hi. It was three ladies there and none of them made us feel welcome. One went in the back and never came back out the other two were just flat out rude, and wasnât helpful at all. They were really short with they answers and didnât want to assist us . Left there and went straight over to Kayâs wow what a huge difference. Great service.    Read moreDo NOT buy their service plan. I bought my wife's engagement ring her with the service plan. In a year it has had 4 major issues one the band bent and 3 missing stones. The first time a stone was missing we took it in and they replaced it for free. She also stated that if it happened three times in a year they would replace it. Well another one went missing and they replaced again telling me if it happened again they'd replace the ring. Well it happened again I go thinking it would be replaced. She's like oh no we don't do that and suddenly I have to pay for the stone. Then lies and says she never said that the ring would be replaced. I'm like I wouldn't have thought that if I wasn't told that. I would've just assumed they keep replacing the stone. Apparently they don't care about customer service in the Hickory, NC location.
