Pumpkin Patch has been an absolute dream daycare for our family. My son started here when he was just four months old, and now, as he approaches his third birthday and gets ready for Pre-K 3, I find myself incredibly sad that our time here is coming to an end.

Every morning, he runs into daycare without even looking back, and every afternoon, he comes home smiling. I’ve seen him on walks with his class, dancing and singing with pure joy. The love, care, and fun that fill each day at Pumpkin Patch are truly unmatched.

The teachers and staff have been nothing short of amazing. They supported us through every milestone, including a particularly challenging potty training journey, with so much patience and encouragement. I always felt like they cared for my child as if he were their own, and I truly believe they pour that same love into every child there.

Communication is seamless, they are incredibly easy to reach and always responsive. Their app is updated throughout the day with photos, meal details, nap times, and potty updates, making me feel connected and reassured. Whether it’s a quick message about a forgotten water bottle or a more important question, I get a response within minutes.

If you’re looking for a daycare that is warm, nurturing, and exceptionally well-run, you would be lucky to have your child at Pumpkin Patch. We will miss them dearly, but we are forever grateful for the love and care they’ve given...

We enrolled both of our daughters at this daycare, and the staff were consistently kind, attentive, and caring. Our girls enjoyed their time there, and we appreciated the warmth and dedication of the teachers.

However, our departure left us disappointed. Despite never submitting a written notice, we were given a 30-day termination because the daycare learned we were moving abroad at some point in the future. This forced us to scramble for alternate childcare until our official move. The lesson? Unless you provide a formal 30-day notice, keep future plans private—even if shared in good faith—as business decisions may override goodwill.

The Pumpkin Patch in downtown Hoboken is an amazing, wonderful, and truly special daycare. The director, teachers, and staff are warm, kind, fun, and clearly love the kids. My child has attended PP for 1.5+ years and he adores his teachers and friends. He loves going to school every day, and I like the overall small feel of the daycare (about 20+ kids across 3 classes). They even do unique, custom birthday balloon decor for the kids (see the Mickey Mouse themed balloon party picture!!) as well as a new creative theme every week for their artwork, play, and learning program.
