During this busy holiday shopping season, it can be easy to expect a frazzled, tired employee when asking for assistance. However, today I went into Kohlâs looking for a specific item to match one which I already had⌠I was sure I bought it at Kohlâs. I enlisted the help of a young lady (employee) who asked me questions while trying to track this thing down. Finally when I found more details on-line, she told me that they havenât stocked this brand in the past. (Not many years ago I would have insisted that I got it at Kohlâs and I was right and she was wrong. But, as I aged, I realized that I could actually be wrong and others could be right)! I quickly agreed with her, that itâs possible I bought it elsewhere. She could have âowned meâ right about then but didnât. Point is, I was extremely pleased with the help she gave me, especially in light of how busy the store was. I was making an Amazon return and that process went smoothly. The customer service person at the return desk was very polite and efficient. I then took my 15% off coupon given me for my return and purchased 3 workout shirts. The checkout process was very excellent. I was cheerfully greeted and the customer service person, Debbie, was very helpful. She commented that the 3 shirts I was buying were excellent. She politely asked about having me sign up for a KOHL's credit card for an additional discount (I declined), and she proceeded to complete the sale. However, apparently it was not paid, didn't get a bill, didn't get the card in the mail, but I did get a notice about late fees. Tried calling the number to pay it off, no one would help me. Called 3 times talked to 3 people, no one would help me. Terrible customer service, they obviously don't care about thier customers and are totally ok for charging me excessive fees for thier mistakes. Each time I called I tried closing the card, and was told it was closed, but then when I called again, somehow my account was still open.
