Great online purchase experience. Lens was shipped promptly with tracking provided. First lens received had some optical defects (manufacturer's fault). Contacted Hunt's by email and they provided a prepaid return label and advised me that the replacement was back-ordered at the moment. In not too long the replacement came in which they promptly shipped to me. Great customer support! Be aware their web store appears driven by actual sales staff and so don't expect the typical immediate automated messages about order processing. Instead I got direct emails from the sales staff with status and tracking information. And you can always email a specific update request from their website as well. Will gladly purchase from again and good to have a solid alternative to some of the larger photo retailers who often have endless wait lists for popular items. Word to the wise - the way most camera manufacturers distribute product to their authorized dealers means that you've got a better chance getting a hard to find item from the smaller ones...

I've had such a great experience at this Hunt's store! Buying my first mirrorless Fuji xt-30ii new this spring, the employee, a man who i can't remember his name, was nice enough to show me that he had a used XT-4 under the counter for sale. We all know that camera is much better than the one i bought, and it was almost the same price. (Not to mention they DID NOT price gouge by inflating the msrp- much appreciated!) I choose the 30ii because it came with a kit lens and i was already at my max budget for a new hobby i wasn't sure I'd love yet. Then I'm the last 2 weeks or so i had Laura as a sales person and she not only sold me a great priced used lens, but offered me such an incredible trade in value for my kit lens that i was blown away. Truly this store is not just about making money, but they are actually lovers of photography and try their best to help others get into it with value. 5 stars Hunt's! I'm bringing all my money with me on the next 1hr commute...

Outstanding service and customer support. I was shopping around comparing prices on excellent-rated used professional equipment that was no longer available. Hunt's Photo's prices were in line with New York wholesalers such as Adorama and B&H but with the advantage of being able to look at the equipment on the premises. Later, Trisha, one of their associates (Holyoke branch), called me to tell me that she had found one of the obsolete equipment I was looking for. Hunt's Photo offered it to me at a better price than the wholesalers because I was a "good customer". The order was done "on a hand-shake", like the good ol' days. I have done business with Hunt's Photos for four years, they have been loyal and honest with me, letting me know about on-going special or rebates done by camera companies without me asking. I highly recommend any of their outlets, I have personally bought from their Holyoke (MA), Manchester (NH), Portland (ME), and Providence (RI) outlets. ...
