ABC Stores #31 — Local services in Honolulu

The ABC stores have a very nice store layout. They have a good job beautifying their stores. Customer service is good. They always help customers with such speed and friendliness. I was just disappointed with their loyalty program. Clerks always tell you to "save your receipts for free gift". So I did. And I actually accumulated about 30 receipts. I was saving them for the day I redeem it. So one day, I finally got a chance to redeem it and the clerk told me it should only be redeemed within 14 days. Well, nobody told me that. It's true that they gave me a card that has information about their loyalty program but I don't have a chance to read it. So, they should at least mention to customers that we need to redeem receipts within 14 days. And with all those receipts I collected that's equivalent to money I spent in the store (because I'm loyal), I did not get any gift. And I dedicated my time and effort saving those receipts. And with all those times I've been going back and forth to purchase, NOBODY has ever mentioned about that exclusion. I hope they will read this review and will serve as a...

This is a great store to shop if you need to spend “x” amount of dollars for your validation, especially for the Shop & Dine program (which is really a great deal). The local female worker was so understanding and totally knew what I was doing. So it was funny when we were at $9 and I told my wife to just grab another box of chocolate macadamia to make the $10. Once again, the employees are great, but if I had eaten the 11.99 shrimp cocktail tray I bought here I think it would have ended my honeymoon.
