I recently had the pleasure of joining the Hawaii Turtle Tours, guided by the incredible duo of Kurt, our tour guide, and Harry, our driver. From the get-go, everything was impeccably organized and punctual, ensuring that we maximized our time snorkeling with the turtles, which was undeniably the highlight of the tour.

Kurt was not just a guide; he was a fountain of knowledge, sharing fascinating insights about the local marine life and cultural history, which made the tour not only fun but also educational. His enthusiasm and energy were infectious, keeping us engaged and entertained throughout the day. Harry, our driver, ensured our journey was smooth and comfortable, navigating with ease and always ready with a friendly smile.

The snorkeling experience itself was magical. The clear waters and the opportunity to swim alongside the majestic turtles in their natural habitat was an unforgettable experience. The equipment provided was top-notch, and the staff made sure everyone felt safe and confident in the water.

Our tour guide was Justin, he was incredibly nice and spent the entire tour (which is an all day tour) telling us about cool facts about the island that correlated to where we currently were on the island. There was never a dull moment even with the longer parts of the drive he kept us all entertained and engaged. We saw a dozen turtles on the beach which was great but I will say the walk to get to the beach is a solid 5 minutes long and the sand gets hot so I recommend water shoes. I will also say I encountered a cockroach in the bathroom that is at the turtle beach so if you can wear your swim suit under your clothes so you don’t have to change in the bathroom that could be a good idea. All in all I give this 5 stars because every stop we took was genuinely fun and the people who work for the company were incredibly nice, knowledgeable, and helpful! I brought 2 toddlers with me and never felt rushed, Justin (our tour guide) went out of his way multiple times to assure me if we took alittle longer to get changed or to get the kids to the bathroom during stops etc that it was no big deal and to take my time, one of my kids had a melt down for about 3 minutes on the bus and Justin was so kind and said that the kids have done so good and offered different things like coloring pages for them which I appreciated. We had the most incredible experience with Hawaii Turtle Tours. As a family with two children, one of whom is proudly autistic, timed tours can often feel overwhelming. We booked at the very last minute, unsure if it would even be possible — but from the moment we reached out, we were met with nothing but warmth, flexibility, and kindness.

This wasn’t just a tour — it became a day of connection, generosity, and becoming part of something bigger. A thoughtful gift was offered as we arrived, and we were welcomed in a way that felt deeply relational, because Sevass made it that way. He didn’t just guide us — he made space for connection, care, and genuine inclusion.

We had the most amazing experience with a sea turtle!!! Both on land and in water snorkeling. It was a moment of pure wonder, and one we’ll remember forever.
