Big Island Candies — Restaurant in Honolulu

We went on a hoppa hop off bus tour and Big Island Candies was one of the 5 destinations, it's such an inspiration story of two brothers which started the business out of their grandma's garage some 28 years ago which now is a big business that exports chocolates and candies worldwide. I was really impressed the staff all wore lime green branded clothing, had a big smile and gave us candy samples and free coffee as soon as we walked in. It was around Halloween so the whole store was decorated. They had fabulous gift boxes at $50 each so I bought two as gifts and my family and friends were very happy to receive them, and the candies were tasty. I highly recommend visiting them. They also have an assortment of other things like a brownie, a crunch bar, and for those who like Hello Kitty, they even did a collaboration for their merchandise. Pretty cool, check it out for sure.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Big Island Candies located on the ground floor in the Ala Moana Shopping Center. After sampling a few bites of various cookies from staff, I happened to meet Ashley, a very kind, patient and extremely helpful employee. I was visiting from the mainland, and needed to purchase some goodies for friends/family back home. Ashley was absolutely fantastic! There was no “salesman” pressure, and she took the time to explain the variety of items in the store. She was very thoughtful in answering all my questions and was very patient with me.
