Friends and I recently took the trial bread making class. We made 3 breads - chocolate, savory and focaccia. It was both a fun and educational 3 hours. Kanako is fully prepared, knowledgable, personable, and most of all patient. Because the class size is small, it allows her to easily watch over everyone. After taking this first course, I would definitely look forward to taking other classes. She also mentioned that it was possible to arrange for a private class. That would make for a fun thing to do with a group of friends. I would highly recommend this class to anyone with or without baking experience.
Second Review We enjoyed our bread making class so much, a group of 6 friends booked a private baking class. We made Matcha Mochi Anpan and Sakura Anpan and Kanako added a bonus dessert, something similar to a roasted tea flan. Thoroughly enjoyed the class. Kanako is a great instructor, keeping the group interested and involved. The atmosphere is light hearted, especially since it's a private class and everyone knows each other. Generally two hours long, the time is spend creating the item. And the best part - everyone gets to take home quite a bit of freshly baked goods. I would definitely recommend any of her classes.
