EDIT/UPDATED: Have finished full set of 8 sessions AND then one and a half maintenance packages of 4 more sessions, all spaced 6 weeks apart, so in total, 12 sessions. I followed every bit of advice and directions pre and post each session. I am not happy.

Last session was August; not even 2 months ago and now hair growth galore and fuzz is back and shave has to happen daily. I thought I’d have to go every six months for maintenance after final session as advertised. Guess not! Guess it’s more like every month and a half!!🤨🤯😳😠

The science is supposed to be 10% reduction per session. So after a complete package, expect 80%. I did 12 sessions in total, so it SHOULD be 120%. Not the case. Yes, my hair is finer in areas of treatment. BUT, NOT gone. I still have to shave 1-2 times per week for a few weeks after, and now daily. I can leave it go for longer duration and it is finer and lighter, BUT the hair grows back throughout that time, and quite long. Especially on knees and Brazilian area. For having three packages, I expect more, a lot more. Also, read a lot of places online that upkeep requires 1-2 times per year annually following end of sessions. The front desk tells you this too. Not the case. I don’t have super dark or light hair. Just brown/average. Not happy with the lies laser hair removal sells you. You will not be hairless. The maintenance packageS were pricey as well as the full package. I’ve heard electrolysis is the only true hair removal method, but laser is advertised as being “fuzz free”. I am not. Yes, smoother overall and for longer in between shaves for a time, until it’s not; overall could be better and it is not as advertised. :/

Also, advertised as painless. NOT true AT ALL. The first session is painless, but every session after especially in areas such as Brazilian, shins, and underarms, AWFUL. HORRIDLY PAINFUL. Ice is necessary, but never enough to truly help. Each RN does it differently patterned and length of time per area too. Some chatty and some silent. Just depends who you get. All RNs great though.

Once again, staff at this location are all kind and fabulous and make it an enjoyable experience to be there🙌🏼 Honolulu office Staff is great, front desk and nurses. Very kind women and professionals. BUT as a heads up, they are almost always running behind. Like 30-45 mins behind. You arrive 10 mins early or on time, and they have you wait for a long time, sometimes even taking other quicker appointments before you, always late. Always.

As others on here and other places have said about customer service (other than actual people at this location), the company WILL spam you. If you’re an existing customer on the email list, and click on a coupon or promo, it treats you like a brand new inquiring customer. Not a current customer paying thousands of dollars just trying to claim a promo or coupon (because these services are insanely expensive and a $100 off would be cool, right?!). Then the offices on Mainland will SPAM you with calls, one right after another after another. I’ve had to resort to blocking some of their phone numbers, as I have been at work in meetings, and then they just call from another area code, repeatedly!! And leave voicemails. I’m not a brand new customer! I’ve been a client for over a year here! I didn’t put my info in to get a quote either like they said it might have been, but I didn’t. I clicked out of the page immediately. Why don’t you treat your current customer like current customers? Worst email form system set up. Can never use the coupons or promos.

But after a year of laser hair removal, sticking to recommended every six weeks schedule and directions pre and post care exactly, I’m not seeing nor have seen the ADVERTISED or desired or expected...

Absolutely love this location! The staff is very accommodating and the services are always amazing! I’ve gotten laser hair removal, Clear and Brilliant Facials, Hydra-facials, and Juvederm all done at this location and I love it all. The staff is very knowledgeable about all the treatments offered and always provide great recommendations on how to keep my skin looking its best. Every time I come here I feel like I’m meeting up with my besties for coffee, such a stress free environment.

Laser hair removal: 8+ sessions for Underarms, arms, full legs, bikini, and Brazilian. Hair on my arms is basically invisible and grows back very fine and in small patches. I would say the same goes for my legs and under arms. Bikini area has become very thin and tends to grow back patchy. Brazilian is nonexistent, hair is gone.

Clear and Brilliant: 7+ this treatment is the best and the worst. I can go full body laser hair removal highest setting with no breaks, clear and brilliant makes me rethink the treatment every time. But let me tell you my skin looks absolutely amazing every time I get it. Even my husband can tell the difference in my skin texture when I get it done! I started with just the face for texture in the t-zone and pigmentation everywhere else and now I’ve added on my neck for texture as well (neck is very easy and almost no pain)

Hydra-facial: 7+ such a nice relaxing experience. I’ve been getting this one done in between my clear and brilliant appointments but have opted for getting it done after long trips and events where my pores are clogged full of makeup, sweat, and grease. I also schedule it when I get hormonal breakouts and the blue light clears everything up by the next day.

Juvederm: I decided to treat myself for 1 ml of filler for my lips just to give my side profile a little more dimension and let me tell you they did a great job! I did .5 my first go and am getting the leftover .5 to add a little more volume. My mom, sister, and husband couldn’t tell I got filler except for the slight bruising on one side which is what I wanted. Just a little oomph without looking like a fish.

Loved every minute of being in this clinic. From the comfy seating area, to all of the cute, pink and sleek decor. Everything was sparkling clean and the receptionists and nurses were all very friendly, outgoing, and knowledgeable . I suspect that even after my laser hair removal treatments, I’ll be coming back for facials! Love!

UPDATE: the laser hair removal results were pretty good. I will say scheduling is a nightmare and the nurses are never on time. I got a hydrafacial today. My appt was at 11:30. They sat me down in the room at around 11:40. The nurse walked in roughly 11:55. The nurse started at 12:00 (this is the minute she actually started cleansing my face) and finished the entire facial by 12:09. Just odd considering the first time I got it done took 20-30 minutes. It felt rushed and didn’t feel like she got every area of my face. Really not fair and unsatisfied with this specific service. If the nurses are behind, push all of the appts back and let the patients know instead of rushing to shave down time to try to catch up? Laser hair removal was worth it. Hydrafacial is not.
