Roberts Hawaii Shore Excursions — Local services in Honolulu

We just came back from POA cruise to the islands. We used Robert's Hawaii for two of our excursions. One in Hilo - Rainbow Falls and Volcano National Park and One in Kaui - The Waimea Canyon (morning) and Fern Grotto (in the afternoon). Both tours were FANTASTIC. The tour guides were extremely educated, prepared and excited about showing us the best spots and for learning about the sites. They not only spoke to us on the bus but got off the bus at the stops with us and made sure we knew what we were looking at and made sure we made the most of the excursion. They were personable, fun and really cared about what we wanted to see and do on the excursions. Robert's Hawaii was the best excursions we had and would HIGHLY RECOMMEND - very reasonable pricing in comparison to some others. Shout out to Cousin Lisa and Leone for taking such good care of us! Robert's is lucky to have both of them...

3/28/25 Opaekaa Falls and Kauai Plantation Railway Experience. Tour itself was ok since the falls were more a trickle of water than falls. Wailua falls around the corner were not included. As soon as we got in the van we complained of how cold the van was. She said it will get warmer as soon as we take off. It didn’t , we complained again and reluctantly she said she would turned down the fans. My hands were numbed and I got a headache. At the next stop I noticed the arrow of the ac was all the way to cold. She said that was for her (she was wearing long pants a long sleeve shirt and a jacket) the ac for us was the one on the right which said 65 degrees.i told her that was still too cold since we were all wearing shorts and t shirts. She finally changed our temperature to 73 which was comfortable. The lady was like a robot the worst tour guide we’ve...

Our guide was great and the content of the tour. What was not great was the miscommunication with cruise ship pickup. We had around 12 people ready to board and no Roberts hawaii representative anywhere. Multiple people from the group called and everyone got differing information. One person was told not to leave the secure port area, the next was told they were down the block. Then we were told they were there waiting for us and we were all in wrong place. We walked there and see the bus pull up to where we initially were. It was lies all around and no clear communication. The tour ended up being 30 minutes late. We then got thrown together with a tour already in progress so we missed the first complete stop. It was very haphazard. I wish I would have booked through the cruise line - and in the future will not use roberts...
