Don’t be misled by this newly opened spot—it’s quickly become my favorite place for a massage. Located in Waikiki, closer to the Ala Moana end, it’s conveniently situated near my workplace. Initially, I was skeptical since it was new and had only one review. However, one day after work, needing some serious relaxation, I decided to give it a try, especially since it was within walking distance.
I called ahead to check availability, and the friendly lady on the phone was accommodating, fitting the masseuse’s schedule around mine. This level of flexibility is rare, as I usually struggle to get appointments that fit my busy schedule. This alone was a great start for me.
The place is in a small shopping plaza called Eaton Square, and the lady even texted me their address and detailed instructions to find it. Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted and asked about my sore spots as I was shown to a room. The room itself was perfect for relaxation, with dimmed lights and soothing music.
The massage was incredible. The masseuse checked in on the pressure and explained why certain spots were sore, providing a mini-education session on my body. By the end of the hour, my tension and soreness had significantly decreased. The overall experience, from the service to the environment and pricing, is among the best I’ve encountered in Waikiki.
For newcomers looking to get a massage in town, especially in Waikiki, I highly recommend this place. Despite the minor inconvenience of no shower facilities (understandable given the office-building setting), this will definitely be my go-to massage spot, and I look forward to...
Read moreWent there for a couples massage because of 5 star reviews on google. I want to make people aware of the experience I had. I would have given it zero star but google review doesn’t allow it. My masseuse gave a somewhat okay back massage, but the rest was very disappointing. I have had massages before, and she really didn’t seem to know what she was doing. My husband has severe neck pain that started after a few hours of the massage.
Walking into the building, it was awfully quiet and honestly a little shady.. so my guards were already up.
Both masseuse left the room at different times and left the room door wide open!! We asked them to close the door 2-3 times! My husband actually saw a third person walk through the room while we were getting massages. Good luck to anyone who tries to relax with this happening.
The women introduced themselves as Lisa and Song from China. And my masseuse, supposedly Lisa, during my massage said “I’m Amy, from Japan. I wonder why the lies.
Lastly, while tipping the woman actually said can we have a higher tip. We obviously didn’t tip more but were totally disappointed with the whole experience.
Hope this review helps you make an informed choice. I recommend staying away...
Read moreI live close to Eaton Square and want people to know what’s happening. Please read the other 1-star reviews. They report the same issues, with one person even saying they considered going to the police. The same 5-star reviews and photos also appear on other Waikiki massage places, which strongly suggests fake reviews.
My husband went to Sunrise Massage and had a terrible experience. We normally go for massage together but I wasn't able to this time. From the moment he walked in, they pushed extra services, and the massage was borderline sexual and unprofessional. Afterward, they pressured him to tip more and tried to force a 5-star review.
The hours are also suspicious. Eaton Square closes at 9 p.m. but this place stays open until 11 p.m. We’re not against massage places in Eaton Square. We’ve been to Red Earth, Xanadu, and Forever Young (not in Eaton but nearby) for professional couples massages. Sunrise is nothing like that. I definitely do not recommend this place and think the Eaton Board needs to take a serious look at this business. It’s not good for the...
