Review is based on our experience on our one and only visit. June 1 at 11 am. First getting in the building, lack of signage, lack of directions, and lack of answering phones started our experience off on a very difficult note. This alone qualifies as zero stars. Hopefully I can write a review to help others. Be prepared to pay for metered parking. There is no sign for the studio, entrance is through a bike store. The bike store was closed on our visit which made things much more complicated. We went around the building three times looking for a door or sign and called multiple times with no answer. Finally we saw a young girl standing in front of the bike shop. She showed us a doorbell with maybe a two by two sticker. The instructor showed up shortly after. You go through the bike store and up a staircase, not very welcoming. The instructor greeted us and seemed friendly, then said we would wait for other students before starting. There were eight students for three silks. Between the stretching atea and three silks the most this class should have had is six. We have been to another local place where everyone gets their own silk and the class is a bit longer. The one advantage of the students waiting is that they speak with each other and cheer each other on. The website does not represent the condition and environment. The owner called me back while the class was going on and I mentioned three issues we had including the challenge getting into the class lack of signage, not answering phones and sanitation. She stated "this may not be the right place for us'. Our class took place on Saturday morning. Really sad when a few adjustments could improve customers experiences. Perhaps a text message with instructions! Best part was the friendly students in the class. They shared while waiting for a turn. The high ceilings make doing certain...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe most important think is the entrance is thought the Bike shop. When you arrive to the address is very very confusing donāt see any sign of the place or the name around. I donāt know why. This neighborhood is very colorful so maybe an arrow in the ground or something it would be very helpful. When I arrive I say hi. The instructions reply and thatās it. Is very unusual the ācheck inā because I feel is not organization in this . The place looks amazing for what it is. I love the photos and all the places they have the silk around the island. My instructor was really good and encourage me to push myself in this first class of Aerial silk. I took the beginners class and it really feels all the work out for it. Next day my upper body is sore so I really recommend make a lot of stretches after and before regardless of the stretches the make you do, specially in your shoulders and arms. I will try the basic movements back home. But definitely is...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI absolutely love Samadhi Hawaii! They have the best teachers--so talented, creative, and fun! Side note: I feel that in some cases, one can be a great dancer, but not necessarily a great teacher--but that doesn't apply here. Samadhi's teachers are all amazing dancers and excellent teachers. I definitely appreciate their patience and emphasis on safety and good form. Learning aerial is definitely a challenge but it is also one of the most fun and rewarding things I have ever tried (and I've tried many things in my life)! The staff and students there are all so warm and welcoming. It feels...
