if you need consistent parking in waikiki look no further (especially if you're at the Marriott)!! I parked here for 15 days (2 one week passes and 1 one day pass). It's very straight forward: $150 for a week and $30 for a day. The pass starts at the time you purchase (which is written down on your pass that you display on your dashboard) to the next day/seven days. You can purchase the pass whenever as long as they aren't sold out (I only saw them sold out once when I got back past 9:30pm).
It's tough to park in no matter what car your drive; if you are driving a sedan, the ramps going down are short and may scratch under your car. If you're driving a SUV, parking might take a few tries because the spots are the size of a compact parking spot (but it isn't impossible).
As a small girl, I really liked how this garage felt safe (always an attendant downstairs checking passes) and it was brightly lit. You will ALWAYS find a spot (third/fourth floors) before 10pm. The elevators for the garage are the same elevators that residents/waikiki banyan hotel guests use. If you come back past 8pm, the gates might be closed though, but you could walk down the ramps or use the stairs near the elevator (both are brightly lit).
Sometimes there is a line going into the garage because it's so popular xD. 100/10 cannot...
Read moreWaikiki Banyan is always where we stay during our visit to Oahu. We rent condos through VRBO. Banyan has two towers. Parking usually comes for free with the unit you're renting, depending on owners. Banyan has laundry facilities on every floor that you pay via quarters or app. They also have bbq's, a swimming pool, 2 hot tubs and a play area on the 6th floor. The bbq are paid by quarters or apps as well. 4 elevators on each tower. Banyan also has a mini mart and a coffee shop. Parking garage is great unless you have a big vehicle, suv, or truck. In the past, I've always rented a jeep or convertible, so parking wasn't an issue. This trip I just got home from the rental car company rented me a Yukon Xl as we had 5 adults and lots of luggage. I didn't think it would be an issue, but it was for parking at the Banyan. Those big vehicles only have the first floor to park and there are not a lot of spaces. The Banyan does not tell other people with smaller cars to park on other levels, so you're constantly hoping there is a big enough empty spot to park. But the Banyan is so close to the beach. Really close to Kuhio street which has lots of shopping and eateries. It is also close to Kalakaua Ave with more shopping, eateries and the beach. Highly recommend the Banyan to stay at if...
Read moreI used the parking facility at Waikiki Banyan Resort during my visit to Honolulu, and I was thoroughly impressed. First and foremost, the pricing is unbeatable—significantly cheaper than all the other lots in the area, making it an excellent choice for budget-conscious travelers.
The parking process was straightforward, with ample space available and clear signage guiding us to the appropriate areas. The garage felt safe and secure, and the staff were friendly and helpful, ensuring a smooth experience from start to finish.
One of the standout features of Waikiki Banyan Resort parking is its convenient location. It's just a short walk away from the heart of Waikiki, making it an ideal base for exploring the area. Whether you're heading to the beach, shopping, or dining, everything is easily accessible.
Overall, I highly recommend Waikiki Banyan Resort parking. It offers great value for money, excellent service, and a prime location. If you're looking for reliable and affordable parking in Honolulu, this is definitely the...
