We went in because they had some pretty rocks that I thought the kids might be interested in. We grabbed some soap and some other items that we were interested in. My son dropped a set of magnets and two of them broke. My son and I picked up all of the magnets and put the broken ones into a pouch to purchase. One of the ladies that works there came up and helped a little bit. While she was doing this, another lady that works there walked around audibly badmouthing my son. When I checked out I talked the cashier and thanked her for the way that she handled it. I mentioned that it was upsetting the way that the other lady was acting. She mentioned that it was the owner. The whole time that this is happening, the manager is casually pacing around the store locking eyes with me. As we were leaving, I mentioned that I didnât appreciate the way that she handled it and it went quickly went downhill from there.
Iâll admit that at that point my anger was getting tough to control and towards the end of the heated argument I said something nasty. I donât regret it, but I wish that I could have handled it a bit better. She returned with the bitterness and I made my exit.
I find it strange that a store full of peace rocks and Buddha statues is run by a miserable miser. Thank god she is surrounded by people who have a modicum of personality and compassion.

My family are into gems and crystals and for the past 12 years weâve been to every Crystal store in Hot Springs. This particular store, we visited the owner was actively stocking us, like we were going to steal something. She never tried to help us. We left and over and over again we went back on vacation and kept trying to give this store the benefit of the doubt but this owner never disappoints in her negativity and outbursts of anger with employees and customers. Itâs just really sad that she doesnât know exactly how to deal with the public but owns a awesome store. I would recommend that she hires a store manager and she stay in the back room. We still recommend the store, just get prepared đ
