As a HS local, it's very apparent to me that the area around Ouachita Avenue has benefited enormously from the magic of The Parlour. What strikes me about this bespoke shoppe of enchantment and mystical community is how all paths are respected. Anchored in an ethos of community and spiritual tolerance, The Parlour curates products (books, supplies) for a discerning customer base, works with teachers for community classes, and hosts events organized by knowledgeable owners and co. ☽☾

This is a shoppe that evolves with the community, both locally and globally, and which makes space for mystical curiosity, practical insight, and personal empowerment. The Parlour is a place for seeking, for discovering, for sharing paths in community. I think it's really wonderful how the owners and associates facilitate others' spiritual potential, always staying open and curious while rooting into the community. At The Parlour, I always find fresh perspective, deep wisdom, and values that align with my own like hospitality. I find independent perspective, guidance, and a constructive challenge to be the best mystical seeker I can be.

This shop is so under represented. While small, the energy here is so peaceful and welcoming! The Parlour doesn’t fall victim to the touristy vibe of Hot Springs and brings a much needed sense of calm right off Bathhouse Row. They have an amazing selection of teas, good selection of herbs, a few other smaller items to bring the whole place together. The staff was so kind. They took time to chat with me even though I had a very small purchase and they were in the middle of unpacking and preparing for Samhain and Yule. Another shop in this area has been called “the best metaphysical shop in central Arkansas,” and while I’m not sure about central Arkansas, it’s by far the best in Hot Springs.

I love being able to see such well put-together small businesses and being able to support them. If you’re in the area, this is a MUST to add to your shopping list of your metaphysical needs. Every time I go to The Parlour I end up with exactly what I need. Davina is an amazing, knowledgeable owner that does everything to help you with your needs while maintaining an atmosphere and attitude of respect and appreciation for the cultures and practices that she facilitates materials for. Her apothecary is ethically sourced, and her entire store hosts a menagerie of books that range from simple to complex. Cody is knowledgeable as well, and more than happy to help when he can. Of course, if you catch Ouiji on the weekends, he's also super helpful! Friday does amazingly accurate and incredibly insightful readings, and her teas and herbal products are made with love and care that you can feel.
