If you know absolutely nothing about guns or anything firearms related, you’ll fit in here with the owners, that equally know nothing about guns and/or anything firearms related. DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT waste your time with this place. The only person that actually knew anything about firearms, who’s actually certified beyond what this place deserves and can talk guns and firearms technology on a technical and accurate scale, is no longer there. It’s sad when you hear from others how uninformed the owners are (who seem to talk a lot like they know what they’re talking about and don’t). And when you hear them talk about firearms, it’s obvious they don’t really know what they’re talking about. You shouldn’t talk about firearms like you know what your talking about if you don’t, and you don’t actually go to the range to practice what you preach. And maybe once a customer leaves the store, it isn’t the best thing to start bad mouthing them while other customers are still present. That’s just not a good display for anyone to feel welcome or like they are valued when you talk smack about them once they leave. The term “Fake it till you make it” is very much the motto in this place, and between bad mouthing any and everyone that comes through the doors, to misinforming customers on firearms, that’s a bad combo, and misinforming someone on something like a gun purchase is never a good thing. Also, none of the experienced shooters in the area shop here. The three gun crowd does NOT shop here. The IDPA crowd does NOT shop here. The Trap and Skeet crowd does NOT shop here. We have been to this store many times and have always thought fairly highly of them. We have purchased several firearms and countless accessories. Yesterday was the last time we will be spending money there. We were in the store purchasing a couple of tools to work on firearms. We looked at several firearms on the wall and were looking at a display model on the cabinet. We had been in there a few times over the last couple days and had purchased several hundred dollars worth of parts and accessories the for Christmas the week before. We had checked out the display model on the counter several times during previous visits and this did not seem to be a problem then. We had not seen this woman before this day, and obviously she had not seen us. We asked a question about the the identity of a woman in a picture on a t-shirt and received a slightly haughty answer from this woman that it was just a random work of art and not meant to represent anyone Ok, it’s a gun store, we speculated that it could be Annie Oakley or some other famous woman’s. Our mistake. Moving on. As I was showing this display to my daughter, this woman walked over and took it away, saying we needed to ask for assistance. She was rather rude and condescending as she did so. Customer service is important. We are in a gun store purchasing parts for guns, if you prefer people don’t look at the parts on guns you have displayed, then maybe don’t display them on top of the counter and let people look at them several times before treating them like naughty children and taking something out of their hands. What an absolutely amazing experience it was finding and spending time in this shop! SO welcoming and professional at the same time. The staff were some of the most personable people I've met in my life! I will recommend this business over any of the other local stores ESPECIALLY after my experience today! We originally came in looking for a pistol and left with SO much more. Every single staff member I met today not only is passionate about what they do but they're very open to teaching you about anything you'd like to know. I went in anxious/nervous due to past traumas and I expressed that to the team- not only were they understanding, they were inspiring, very well educated, and were also excited to do it along with me! I particularly want to mention David who was our RSO today and just from the time spent in the range I not only learned I was left eye dominant but he also helped talk/walk me through the feelings I was having and helped me build confidence throughout the whole situation. I'm so appreciative for him and the whole team working the shop today. I signed up for a lesson with David this coming month and I'm absolutely excited. This place is so safe, welcoming and patient!
