We went to this place after finding it recommended by Google. The pictures on Google made it seem like a good place to eat, so we decided to stop by. We arrived around 10:30 and found that there was a waiting list. We were finally seated around 11:00, which took 30 minutes. The wait seemed long, but we assumed it was because it's a popular place to eat. While waiting, we noticed some unhappy customers leaving for various reasons.
The server was really nice, so I can't complain about her. However, my reason for giving this place a 1-star review is that despite arriving at 11:00, our food still hadn't been served by 12:30. I asked our server how much longer it would take for our food to be ready. She said our food was next to be cooked, so we'd have to wait even longer. That's when we decided to cancel our order, and the server spoke with the owner or manager.
During their conversation, we showed our frustration, and the server rolled her eyes, grabbed our ticket, and said, "just let them leave." The owner or manager never came to apologize or try to resolve the issue, which was disappointing. Things might have turned out differently if they had tried to provide good customer service and maintain their reputation. We understand that Sundays can be busy, but they should've made an effort to salvage the situation.
If you're not willing to wait more than an hour for your food to be ready, I would not recommend this place. Instead, we decided to go to the “Quetzal” restaurant, which I highly recommend. We were served promptly and had a great...

Read moreWow! Okay, so this place really impressed me from the moment I walked in and saw how eclectic and cozy the atmosphere was to the food itself. I wasn’t sure how I’d feel about the chilaquiles (chips covered in salsas) because I usually don’t order an entree with chips because you get complementary chips on the table but boy am I glad I did!!!! The thin steak (Cecina) IS DELICIOUS that comes on top!! Super tender and flavorful. I would definitely go back for this. I also tried the pambaso which is like a torta dipped in red sauce- very good but not the best in town personally. The flautas were good- potato is the best- if you need a recommendation. It’s not the biggest meal so I would recommend an appetizer if you were getting that. The pancakes with caramel are really flavorful too- I recommend getting it with the fruit too, lovely flavors. The chorizo cheese dip was decent- tasted like any other I have had and the breakfast potatoes are not seasoned too much so they are great if you are on a low sodium diet. Overall, I would definitely go back for the atmosphere and the chilaquiles. Oh and the house-made fruit punch is worth the...
