3mA Audio — Local services in Houston

Nightmare made right. I got a Marantz AV 8802A from 3mA Audio after winning an ebay auction. After receiving it and setting it up, it started to have some problems with the HDMI inputs which is an issue with the 8802. I contacted Johnny at 3mA Audio who gladly offered to take the unit back, repair it and send it back to me. During our conversation and after some negotiations, we came up with the option of me sending the 8802 back as well as my Marantz AV 7702 as a trade for a brand new 8805A, along with paying the difference. We made the deal and equipment was sent via UPS. A few days later, my trade arrived at 3mA Audio and they shipped out the 8805A. Days leading to weeks later, the 8805A had not arrived. Somewhere I had an over $5000 processor lost somewhere between Houston Texas and Tampa Florida. I must admit I bugged Johnny and Louis to death over where the shipment was. Louis looked for a replacement processor from Sound United which were in short supply all over the country. This would have been devastating news. Louis worked his magic on the phones and the computer, eventually finding replacement. Louis dealt with UPS who as of November 1st, still hasn't found the package. I sincerely want to thank Louis and Johnny at 3mA Audio for taking care of me. I will definitely be doing business with them again. They are NOT a pay and forget store. I found 3ma Audio while searching for a lesser known brand of speakers. They carry such a broad selection of audio brands that they actually had what I was looking for in stock. I drove from OKC to Huston to pick up my new speakers and the minute I walked in their store I was greeted like an old friend. The first question I was asked was what I wanted for lunch! I was blown away with the amount of audio gear they had in the place! I was familiar with hi-fi but certainly not to this level. It's been a couple of years now and while they are the only dealer I will do business with they have all become, more importantly, great friends.
