We stayed at “Cozy Modern Retreat | 10 Mins to Heights & Downtown” and unfortunately had one of the worst rental experiences.
First, the welcome email lacked the correct check-in information, which created unnecessary confusion upon arrival. When we finally entered the home, we were immediately hit by a strong smell of trash left behind by previous guests — which had not been removed as promised.
To make matters worse, the house was 90°F inside when we arrived. The AC took hours to even begin cooling, and it was still 81°F at 1 a.m., making it nearly impossible to get a good night’s sleep on the first night.
Despite assurances that the trash would be picked up first thing in the morning, it wasn’t removed until around 5 p.m. the next day — well after we had already spent a miserable day in the property.
We chose this place expecting a relaxing stay, but it turned out to be a nightmare. We were told we would be reimbursed for these issues, but so far, those promises remain unfulfilled.
I hope this review helps future guests make an informed decision, and more importantly, I hope the management takes this seriously and improves the quality of service they provide. Guests deserve better, especially when paying...
