Snap Kitchen — Restaurant in Houston

I was meeting friends for dinner before a show down the street and the place they picked I unfortunately had extremely limited options due to my food allergy and saw Snap Kitchen nearby and walked in to see if they may have more options for me. I’ve never been and didn’t know what the menu entailed or what to expect.

Lauren was very friendly and gladly helped me navigate their many food items to find something to accommodate my very challenging nightshade allergy. She was welcoming and informative as it was my first time visiting. Lauren’s interaction with me didn’t make me feel bad about my difficult food allergy either, unlike some people at other food establishments sometimes un/intentionally do. Her attitude and energy made me feel at ease and she seemed genuinely happy to help me. Thank you, Lauren!

They have premade meals and individual proteins and sides, as well as freshly prepared snacks such as cheese/grapes/boiled egg among other options and have prepackaged snacks like chips and bars also. I'm sure they make great food, I love that they are portion controlled and bio friendly. I can't rate higher because the staff is super pushy. Not only would they not let me just look, there were three of them watching people shop and one asked 3 times in about a minute if I needed help, while the other two assaulted other customers with questions. The whole experience sent me pretty immediately right back out the door. It looks pretty self explanatory, everything is pretty well labeled...I know they are trying to work, but dang...step back a sec and let people...
