I went to pay my bills today at this location and you can tell we in a more nicer area. They are selling beautiful Christmas trees and some of the pine needles left a trail which are very slippery right at the front door. They have the most on time clean up man that came just as fast as I seen it he already had a whole mini street sweeper to clean it up I was impressed by how fast it was taken care of. That could've been a disaster but thanks to the amazing staff it wasn't a problem. As I was watching the man clean up the mess the lady at the customer service desk was having an issue with 2 customers. I don't think that it's appropriate it ask anyone for their ID if using a debit card that requires a 4 digit pin that is something that is stupid. But either way there was some sort of miscommunication between this lady and those customers prior to today so he was warning me about her service. I made the conclusion that the lady Victoria is a good worker with a calm friendly personality. She took care of my bills just fine even though she had just been yelled at in front of a room full of people. She maintained her voice level throughout the entire incident which I would not have been able to do that. The bill payment part was fast .The manager came over to speak with her about that happened and they maintained professional behavior. There was a worker who overheard the commotion and came to assist incase it escalated. He maintained his professionalism while still letting the 2 customers know don't be cursing at the workers. It was taken care of very well and I appreciate it because I was in a hurry. This location has some very good employees and Kroger really should be proud of that. They had cashier's ready and waiting to take customers. I already did my grocery shopping here before and they have a great Deli department and bakery. Definitely I will do my shopping and bill pay here. It feels like they actually care about people at...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI just got home and hope no one else has to go thru the same interaction I just had with the female working the money service department. This is my first visit at this location, and I hope the last. I asked a family member and see if they can get a few dollars exchanged for quarters. They came back and said no. I asked the people at the register as I was finishing my transaction on purchasing groceries if they have quarters to exchange for dollars. They said to try the Money services booth. So at the end my transaction I myself went to the booth and asked. The female working said they don't because they needed if for the cashiers. I completely understood. accept the answer and headed out the door. Out of nowhere I hear someone yelling "I just told her".
I turn back, and the female working the money booth is looking directly at me. So I stopped and told her there was no reason for you to raise your voice at me and make that comment. I was already walking out the door. She say "then goodbye".. I don't know what issues she had thay day? I can't believe that Kroger has a person with a clear lack of professionalism and attitude to work in customer service. I had to bring it to the Managers attention, Jose. He asked me what had happened, and he called her extension at the booth. I'm not sure what she said, but they hung up, and she walked away from the service desk abruptly. The same thing I said in this comment is what I told Jose. She had no reason to interact with me or my family member as I was leaving with that belligerent comment. The interaction was complete when she gave me the answer. He said he would "handle it". I don't feel confident. As I was walking out one of the workers said "I'm glad you said something...she has an attitude problem" (not surprised). As I was leaving I saw her again. I told her "Ma'am have a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis is the "creepy KROGER" - my wife and I call it that because the staff and the patrons are such an odd mix. Tonight was a great example. I went in late to get bottled water because I'd forgotten to get it this afternoon. As I'm getting ready to check out, a rough looking older lady wearing only a bathrobe and slippers comes up to me and asked for a dollar. Just straight out "Can I have a dollar?" and I was like "Uh, who me?" and she was like "Yeah, can I just have a dollar..." I was so sort of caught off guard I just went "No. You can't have a dollar..." and it came off as more mean than I intended it. I was startled actually...she was begging for money IN THE STORE...and then she went and sat down at the table where I presume she lies in wait for the next unwitting customer...where normally people like eat their lunch or something...or old folks wait for a ride or whatever...but it was strange...where's the manager of this creepy place? Who thinks it's okay to come up WHILE INSIDE THE STORE and start hitting up the customers for cash? I hadn't even gotten done talking to the checkout girl...wasn't even finished yet and she just interrupted our transaction with one of her own...I'm telling you, this place is WEIRD. Management should be stopping the lady in the dark red bath robe from accosting customers...give her a dollar to get the hell out of...
