I do not recommend this place at all. The technician and his wife are very professional and polite but they behave childishly when it comes to taking responsibility. I simply wanted to replace a 3 year aging battery to increase battery life on my Nintendo Switch. Unfortunately, I did not have adhesive remover or tools to remove a super glued Nintendo switch battery. I called and was quoted a fair price of $15 for battery replacement. I screwed the backplate back on and drove to some office building in Harwin.

He asked me to wait outside for 10-15 minutes and when I returned, the new eBay battery worked but I I was getting micro SD errors. He reassembled the micro SD reader 3 times before asking me to mess with it at home since it was not reading. I have custom OS on my micro SD so I was getting SD reading errors for the OS. I finally get home and couldn’t remove a screw because he stripped it. Additionally, he scratched my right side of my switch. I was freaking out he broke it.

I arrive the next morning and he rudely told me to leave as he no longer has time to help me that day. I told him the Y screw by the micro SD reader is stripped and he broke by micro SD reader installing my battery. He deflected blame and said I already opened it prior to coming to him and even lied again by saying it was working fine when I left. He kept insisting I pay him $20 to fix it but I did not want this guy going anywhere near my switch so I left.

I ordered a new Micro SD reader on eBay for $6 and installed it myself in less than 2 minutes.. proved solved but now I have a stripped screw..

Additionally, he did not apply any adhesive on the battery so it shakes when I move my Nintendo Switch around.. I suspect he intended to break my micro SD reader to potentially make a bit more money? Who knows.. but I will definitely do my own work and just order the right tools next time.. I was upset I had to wait 9 days to play my...

I recommend this place to anybody who needs a game system repair! ✅️, My Ps5 wasn't reading any type of disc something was damaged I'm no engender , however I had 2 options in mind. I had called in asked i told the the lady problem I had with my ps5 she give me the information i needed even the price range on what needed to be fixed i had with my ps5 the lady is very pleasant and VERY UNDERSTABLE of any type of issues you have with your systems need . The owner has 20+ years of experience🧑‍💻 , he takes his job seriously welling to repair anything withing days even if he has so many systems to work on🧑‍🏭 , he's welling to finish his job on time ⌚ , I have better experience with them than Game stop at 8582 Westheimer rd ,I had called them to ask if I had warranty on my ps5 Sadly I did not , I asked what would be my better options even though I had gamexpress in mind already , I just wanted to see what where they're best options , they recommend me to get a new ps5 🤨 they didn't even have in mind recommending me to repair my PS5 , game stop at 8582 Westheimer Rd is just after your money ! . So next time you have any type game system problem i recommend to talk with gamexpress first before deciding to get a new system, they have good pricess it all depends what you need fix on your system. What a find...a highly skilled, reasonably priced and efficient repair shop for a vast variety of electronic devices...from phones to game systems to computers. Took my son’s PS3 to have the Yellow Light of Death repaired. Just as advertised...no fee to diagnose and the repair charge as listed on the Website. Where does that really happen? THIS IS WHERE IT HAPPENS!!! While there I asked about replacing my IPhone Screen Protector...”no problem”...done while I waited...and just $5. As promised, the PS3 was ready the next day. So pleased that I now have taken my IPad to have the charging port replaced. You’re right...will be ready tomorrow. While there another customer, brought in his IPhone for a battery replacement. ...$20...can you believe it!!!! Will certainly be using Sal and Roxanne again. Returned this week(4/25/2022) after shattering my wife’s iPad screen. Not only did they replace the screen for $75, but the job was done the same day. Continues to provide honest, quality and reasonably priced service. BTW...the shop is actually in an office building on the south side of Harwin between Hillcroft and Fondren. UPDATE- 2/19/2024: Sal has come through again!!! Dropped my wife’s IPad again…yes the screen shattered. Took to Sal after lunch and he had it repaired by 5:20 PM. What a guy!!! And the prices are the best!!! Still fast, honest and professional service. SO GLAD I FOUND...
