Happy Homes Industries — Local services in Houston

I paid 1250.00 plus 150.00 for delivery for a sectional. This is the closest thing to a scam I’ve been sucked into. Beware, there is no warranty or customer support because they sell to independent wholesalers that advertise on FB Marketplace through individuals. Then you make contact actually through the wholesaler and they set up delivery to you. No money upfront, you pay when they deliver. Sounds pretty good, huh. When you pay, they email you a receipt the next day. The quality upon delivery notice is on the receipt. Total Rooms is the wholesaler, they only guarantee it to be in good condition when it’s delivered. The receipt only has their company name on it, no other contact information, not even the city or state was listed. Somehow I got their phone number because I missed their initial email and they called me. Delivery was on August 28th. By Sept 28th, one section has collapsed. I started tracing this down and called Total Rooms. They said warranty was with Happy Homes. Guess what, Happy Homes said warranty was with Total Rooms. They then told me to have someone fix it and send them the bill. So I then realized nothing was going to happen. I tore it apart and found substandard materials, half the staples never hit the target. One of the support boards had a knot in the middle of it, causing a weak point which broke when sat on. Poor quality control, poor materials being used as I found other wood in the frame that was poor quality. Consumer, only buy from a local brick and mortar store where you have some recourse instead of these scam artists. I will spread this everywhere I can to warn other people. I bought a sectional couch, table and bed from this company and Victor did not deliver all my furniture neither did he set up the furniture. Upon delivery, the furniture was left at my apartment, boxed up, left for me to assemble, after he falsely informed me know that all furniture was in the boxes and that he would come back at an exact time to assemble everything. Some of the furniture even had defects. I paid for the services and he did not deliver all of my furniture nor did he come back to assemble it at any point after delivery. He lied many times to me throughout this entire experience and was very unprofessional. He has illegal workers working for him, who he claims he is trying to help, that were suppose to assemble my furniture and they did not. I am very dissatisfied with the customer service that Victor and his company provided me with. I would not recommend purchasing any products from Happy Homes Industries as I was not happy at all.
