I went here for a procedure from the registration staff to all the staff were excellent expically the two nurse's that prepped me for everything and stayed with me during my procedure, I'm very Grateful for and to them both, as I got ready I met a lady who did gardening as I do, she was pleasant happy all smiles Ty, I unfortunately didn't meet the doctor who specializes in this procedure although he was in the room before I remember drifting off. It is always important to meet the doctor who'll be handling your care, just common curtisey. I was asked if I'd concent to a blood transfusion, which I Declined, for no other reason the it being My choice what goes in my body. My Choice Respectfully Saying, not religious and not because of being a Jehovah witness, that's stero typing people instead of respecting the individual having a choice and making a decision for themselves, it shouldn't be speculation or judgement towards the individual. In the recovery room was good but I heard a conversation between two employees about someone not sweeping up the area in which patients have to be, regardless who's job it is it should've been done and not swept up in a corner because it's not your job, the Safety, Cleanseyness and disinfecting of the invriroment where patients are is part of your job and shouldn't have been left while patients were in that area, it should have been reported to a supervisor and it should have been removed while we were there. My time there was much...
Read moreI can't thank the doctors and medical staff enough for saving my husband's life. My husband was near death when we switched over to Methodist Houston from another well known hospital. He had been a patient at the other hospital for 2 years waiting on a liver transplant. They were just letting him die. Shortly after being accepted as a transplant patient at Houston Methodist, he was admitted after taking a turn for the worst. My husband was sedated and put on a ventilator. Within 48 hours, he received surgery and a gift of a new liver. God bless the donors family and the staff at Houston Methodist. It's been 6 months and he's doing amazing. A new life and a second chance. The nurses and doctors really care. He's still under their care. They continue to make sure he's in good health. I did a lot of research before I moved my husband over to Houston Methodist Hospital. It's one of the best transplant hospitals in the United States and certainly the best in Texas. I'm adding a before and after pictures. The last picture is the most recent, six months...
Read moreHonestly one of the WORST PLACES EVER !!!!! The lady scheduled my dad with the WRONG DOCTOR !!!! No one even bothered to say anything or even question why we were seeing Dr. Siff instead of Dr. Woody . It wasnât until Jose Reyes came in around 1:30 to inform us that my dad would not be seen by Dr. Siff because that was not the right doctor for what my dad was coming in for . ITâS THE STAFF MEMBERS FAULT WHO SCHEDULED MY DAD WITH DR. SIFF. You guys need to train her better and needs to be some kind of disciplinary measure or actions with that staff member. We DROVE FROM WHARTON. That is 60 miles from Houston . Seriously the scheduling staff NEEDS TO BE AWARE OF WHO THEY ARE SCHEDULING PATIENTS WITH! I will say I thank Jose Reyes for helping us out and validating our parking / getting us rescheduled with the RIGHT DOCTOR NEXT WEEK. HOWEVER, Iâm STILL DISAPPOINTED AND SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE TO PREVENT THIS FROM HAPPENING TO ANYONE ELSE . Ridiculous, you would think this is such a great hospital but itâs all just a name and...
