It's quite interesting having offices downtown for 25 years & witness so much great architecture & projects being built. However, sadly, the level of professionalism in the industries that serve our businesses & people are continuing to degrade & be diminished by apathetic employees with a lot more ego than accomplishment. For example, I made a complaint to BOOMTOWN COFFEE''s Manager & by the time I expected a, no worries, we've spoken to her about it... The reply was to ban me! 😂. I laughed because by then, I simply spent my $ everywhere else that chooses professionalism over trying to please post adolescent wokesters like "Groovy", whom I not only tipped & gave snacks to (along with the others) but did so even as I heard gossip about myself & others who pay them.. 😎. In any case, Robot Coffee Bar in SFO AIRPORT cleared over a million in 2023. We need the coffee, not the attitude from those who've done NOT MUCH to contribute to society. Oh & do everyone a favor. Stop Harassing me! The "Angry Black Man Makes Me Uncomfortable" card is over & done with. Especially when I'm not angry nor do I utter the epithets she's been recorded uttering in front of customers. Lastly, try to realize a lot of us have millions of dollars & sometimes Billions on our plate & need an environment where staff supports good energy, not keeps hiring those who hate the successful & or security who falsy only secure their own jobs & not the building from miscreants, body bandit saggers & all sorts of uncouth types. Championing champions leads to a better life. Championing mediocrity & DEI (I'm Black American BTW) for its own sake hires has lowered the tier of what I use to experience, exponentially. Singapore here I...
Read moreFood hall under the new Bank of America building. It isn't really obvious or visible from the street, so you kind of have to know it's down there (easy to see as soon as you walk into the building).
Note, the rest is based on weekend/evening times not lunch hour:
I don't work in the area, but I live nearby. The food hall seems to miss out on the weekend/evening crowd. Most of the restaurants are not open when we go and those that are are often out of multiple items, and it feels very desolate (I hear it is pretty busy/popular for lunch though). The evening and weekend is clearly an afterthought to everyone, which is unfortunate because I see a lot of potential since it is close to a lot of residential buildings. The Poke place and the sandwich place have been open when I go and both are good (when they are in stock). With some more street level visibility and advertising to nearby residential buildings, I have a lot of hope for the future potential here based on how busy the other food halls in the area can...
Read more8-20-2022 Racially profiled!!! My business partner and I were shooting content in this facility(we were the only ones in the building @8am when they opened) and we were profiled by Michael Ponce. His approach was careless and he was completely rude. First he said there is a “rule,” then he jokingly stated he forgot the rule. He kept saying he has never seen us there (in the last month we have been there 3 times, this made 4) and he was talking as if we were trespassing or didn’t belong there. He called his supervisor who told him to leave us alone. We brought up that he was profiling us and his response was “Wow y’all just have to go there huh?” He saw 2 young black professional females minding their business and decided to cause trouble, I will...
