I made an appointment at this location and as soon as I walked in the black lady with long braids and glasses gave us the nastiest look and asked if anybody was there for passport appts and we said we were. It was 12:55 our appt was at 1:15 so we got there early since in the email it says arrive 15 min early. She let us know she had already done the 1pm appointment. Right away she sends us outside to the waiting room and tells us to wait out there she will come and get us when she is ready, I said ok cool. It’s 1:30 i go back in there to remind her just in case she forgets and when I walk up to her she sighed rolled her eyes and said “i have to take care of all these people then I will get to you” mind you it was one person behind me. She made it seem like the place was super busy and I had an appointment. She seemed super lazy and she was being nice and talkative to the other customers except for me. I don’t know why this lady was so rude to me. It cost nothing to be nice to people? This location advertises they do walk ins but when you show up they tell you they are understaffed and can never help you. I tell her then what was the point of making the appointment? Right away she says “I’m not going to go back and forth with you you can talk to a supervisor out there” . Basically she did not want to help me whatsoever I don’t know what her problem was but she seemed very hateful. Another male employee shows up no help by the way he told me “theres no supervisor here whatever she says goes she will help you when she wants too”. He did not seem to care. If you don’t like your job then find another one!!!!! I just wanted my kids passports and they were making it so complicated for me. At the end another employee helped me out I guess the woman refused to do my application because they had told me she was the only one doing them . I felt very discriminated here by the way I’m hispanic. So beware guys if you make an appointment they will help you IF THEY WANT TOO. By the way i had my other childs passport done here a month prior and kim got it done in about 15 minutes. This woman could have processed my application in the time she had me waiting out there. The place was not busy at all and people kept walking in and out...
Read moreI am a former letter carrier and I can tell you this post office is lackadaisical, when it comes to customer service. Their complaint handling is abysmal also. First I was never informed that any FEDex or UPS packages could not be accepted by them. Then they told me all of the mail I received had been sent back. Yet, the following week, the same mail I was inquiring about showed up post stamped for a much earlier arrival. They have no continuity in regards to their own policies. I received a renewal notice, attempted to pay it in person because I no longer had the same credit card I online. R. Lopez kept broadcasting that the credit card issue out loud unnecessarily as though I had a bad card, not knowing I had a replacement lost card. He was simply Intentionally trying to embarrass me. I said yes I have a new one but that in is not for public consumption is it? I have a new card. I am here collecting the mail so I can pay in person. He proceeded to tell me I could not pay in person, I had to pay online because I only wanted to renew for 3 mths not six months. You cannot pay for 3mths in person. Ridiculous. I can not tolerate their poor service or structure. No, I will have found an alternative to this in six months. I again opted for 3months and he again refused payment citing there was no set up to pay for only 3mths in their system although the letter instructs people to do so, which I again referred to. I allowed him to read the letter also where he verified that the letter did state that I could. No supervisor was available he claimed. So, I asked for the name and he only gave a last name, no handle, male or female, so he claimed he did not the supervisor's first name. I am still escalating this matter. This same individual was rude and unhelpful...
Read moreI tracked a package. Found out they attempted to deliver it on the 21st of June (a Sat), and that it was now at the Post Office, waiting for me. So I went up there this morning and waited until they opened. Walked in, to be the FIRST PERSON to be served. I gave the lady the tracking number, and she attempted to find it in the back. After 5 minutes she asked me to wait as she booted up some special computer at the end of the counter to look it up in their system, while she went ahead and helped the next person... and then the next person. After waiting 20 minutes I had to leave so I wouldn't be late to work... so I kindly left her my name and phone number and tracking number so she could call me when she found out something about my package. THREE hours later and I haven't heard from her this morning... so I've picked up the phone and called for her... someone picked up... I told her who I needed to speak to... and she's had me on hold for 59 minutes! NOT HAPPY! STILL WAITING
[update]: still on hold, 1 hour and 21 minutes! [update]: still on hold, 1 hour...
