Ok so here is the deal about this place I once went here atleast once or twice a week and then Luby's bought them out horrible mistake on there end, but that is the past so recently they are starting to get worse in taste, and sizes of burgers, and drinks. They have small, medium, & large now instead of the traditional 1/2, 1/3, or2/3.. the large is 2 patties and is just way to much it really reminds me of a knock off burger king in a bigger, thicker version but it no longer taste like the old burgers. I was there last night and now the bread is different and not very good the bottom bun was kind of hard not like the old softer bun... also they now only have all the same size cups that are almost $2 or more for a 16oz. Drink that is a rip-off what happened to the bigger souvenir Texans cups??? The best think about this place now is the special pickers, not the regular hamburger pickles and this cashier by the name of "Anthony' he is awesome hands down another bad thing about this place is 1 of the managers"Alberto" I believe his name is he has horrible customer service, I was there 1 day and they got my order wrong so the mgr. I am speaking of took the tray from me asked what was wrong with it and they snatched the tray and through it on the floor and was really mad at me and now EVERYTIME I GO IN THERE HE LOOKS AT ME FUNNY, LIKE HE HAS A PROBLEM WITH ME!!! I just wish if he was feeling really groggy he would leap cause he should NEVER handle a complaint like that, and I have heard other story's from other employees about his attitude it is absolutely the worst, if he doesn't like his job he should just quit but really he needs to get fired to be honest this is not the 1st bad experience I have had with him, it just continues to get worse and he is always there so I unfortunately have to see him, but like I stated "Anthony" is the best, the cooks can' t even cook the hamburgers correctly if you ask for medium you will probably get it medium well which is much different from each other.. I just wish that this place could get there stuff together cause I really miss my old fuddruckers, maybe if the "Gm" was there more often things would be different or if CORPORATE would get involved... That is my next step cause it is sliding down fast, and they already closed the 1 on Kirkwood and westheimer so Fuddruckers get it together and reconsider your pricing you are getting to expensive for what you sell, there is no reason 2 medium burgers plain, 2 fries, and 2 16oz. Drinks should cost me almost...
Read moreWe decided to visit for lunch, which under normal circumstances would have been wonderful on a Saturday afternoon. However, due to the weather, apparently all of the baseball games around the area had been canceled and they gathered at the restaurant instead. The place was PACKED, which for the restaurant, was GREAT. We placed our order and then waited over 45 minutes (and me walking to the counter at least three times) to inquire about our food. We watched others that had ordered after us get their meals. FINALLY they called my name. I must say, it had been a while since I had dined at a Fuddrucker's and the hamburger was worth the wait. It was cooked to perfection. I had avocado added to mine. I was pleasantly surprised that they did not "skimp" on the amount. My fries were cold, but my date had onion rings, which were piping hot. I recommend those over the fries. We both ordered shakes. They are not served in the container that they show on the signage, so don't be disappointed when you receive at shake that costs $5.00 in a small cup. It was still delicious despite the cost. The total bill came to over $50, which I guess in today's standards is acceptable. It brought back a lot of happy memories from growing up going to Fuddruckers as a teen and young adult. I look forward to...
Read moreThe only reason this place got two stars from me is because of the complete and udder rudeness I received from one of the employees. I ordered the key lime shake, which I happen to be huge fan of the pie so I thought why not try it. It looked amazing but as I drank it, I noticed nuts in it. When I took it to the front and asked if they could please give me something different because there was nuts in it, (which I did not expect and was not advertised on the photo) I got quite an attitude from a young brunette girl who happened to be conversing with two other employees. She was rude to start saying it wasnât nuts that it was the graham cracker mix. Clearly there was nuts because I literally picked it out of the cup and showed her, and she STILL insisted it wasnât nuts. Iâm not an idiot. I know what pecans look like and it was exactly what I said it was. Freaking NUTS! Although they made me a different shake, it was the customer treatment that ticked me off enough to leave a review I felt was worth sharing. Management needs to correct its employees on how they speak to customers that PAY to eat at this establishment. Itâs no wonder this one is the last one standing. If they keep up with those kinds of attitudes, it will shut down in no...
