I ordered a couch at this big lots back on 5/29. I was told that day that the couch would be in by Monday on the next truck. When i called in to check the status of the couch, i was informed that you have no way to tell me for sure when it will be in. I have been given the run around every time i call up to the store to check if my couch is in all i get told it will be in on the next truck. I called on 6/21 again and was told id be called 6/22 to let me know if it came in or not. I've now spoken with store manager Madonna multiple times now and every time she goes back on what her employees are telling me. I get these are odd times with the virus shutting things down but none of these things were brought up with me to begin with so there was a false expectation given by the employee who helped me originally. Read moreI want to give a "shout out" to the manager, Joe. He is amazing and helped us get replacement cabinet doors for our recently purchased standing fireplace. The 1-year warranty via 3rd party should have supplied the replacement parts per the owner's manual, but became unreachable with the announcement of the stores to close soon. Joe went above and beyond to locate us a set of doors! "Thank you, Joe! I hope you are well compensated because you deserve it and best wishes for the future!". Now I noticed that the prices are no different than the prices in regular commercial stores. Big Lots was known for savings and now it's the last place I go.
