tldr: I feel like I got ripped off due to misrepresenting the cost to me, doing the repair anyway, then trying to charge me more than the cost of a new Pixel 7 for the repair.
Avoid this shop and possibly this company entirely if at all possible.
I had a Google Pixel 7 that had the screen coming unglued from the phone. I likely could have fixed this myself or simply used a case, but my phone was still under warrantee, so Google directed me to uBreakiFix for warrantee repairs.
When I came in the first time, I was told that Google had to get them a ticket to work on the phone and they gave me a number to call. The number worked, but the Google department I had to reach was closed. I used the Google website to find any alternative, and was directed back to uBreakiFix. After answering some questions wrong on the Google website to get a call back, I finally got a Google support representitive. After about a 30 minute call, he asked to talk to the uBreakiFix tech. Without any action from Google, uBreakiFix suddenly said they would honor the warrantee and that no action was needed from the Google tech. They did not have the parts in stock, but my phone was usable, so I left with it and they ordered the parts. Why did uBreakiFix make me jump through extra hoops with Google when that was actually not needed?
I came back in one week later since the parts were received and dropped off the phone without event; however, when I picked up the phone today, I was told that they could not honor the warrantee because their was 'screen damage' and gave me a total cost for the repairs that was greater than buying a new Pixel 7. I then had to haggle them down to around the cost of a new Pixel 7, thought about leaving without paying anyway and just buying a new one out of principle, but caved in and paid.
I feel like I could have repaired this easily myself with a case or some adhesive. Had I known the cost, I would not have had the repair done. If it were any more expensive, I'd consider getting a lawyer involved. Thank you for wasting my...

You looked into it once and stated there is a fee associated with repair work in a timely manner covered under warranty. Asurion was sent the video since the policy was purchased from them. Plain and simple, just crooked. What people won't do for the almighty dollar. Sometimes it is just not business and is purely exploitation. The U Break I Fix store on Old Troy Pike in Huber Heights, OH is completing warranty work but charging fees under the table. If you bring your phone in for repair they want to keep your phone for a week but if you pay out of pocket $100 they will fix it right then and there. When asked why the difference in timing, it was stated that since they are not paid for warranty work it will sit until they feel like fixing it. If you pay their personal fee, they will take care of it now. This is not how business is conducted. Samsung has been notified and provided the TikTok that was created...
Read moreI called the Huber Heights location of uBreakiFix after being referred to them by Samsung for a faulty charging port on my phone. When I called, a young man named Brad answered the phone and asked what model phone I had. I told him it was a Samsung s23 and he checked and said that they had a charging port for that in stock and that I could bring it right over. When I came to their store, he said that they didn't have the correct part for my phone. Instead of admitting his mistake, he claimed that I told him my phone was a Samsung 23 Ultra. This wasn't the case; I had never even heard of such a model for samsung. I didn't appreciate the waste of my time because an employee couldn't be bothered to check a model number before checking for a part availability. I especially didn't appreciate the same employee trying to blame me for his mistake. That was over the top. They have some maturity and training issues...
