Waffle House — Restaurant in Huber Heights

It is Waffle House so this is my limited experience in Florida, Tennessee, and Ohio (this one)… A friendly staff takes your order, and I had to ask them to turn down the music, with plenty of speaker denying a quiet corner. I put in my Fitness Earbuds, to help with the clanging of plates and cooking tools, reminding me of a Beni Hana years ago where a “chef” thinks banging metal instruments is part of your entertainment. I got a good meal with great hash browns( I like crispy), yet after cooking for us, the cook went out in front of the door and smoked up that area (smelly when entering) before placing his butt in the container the store places 30 feet away! I figured out why the people were yelling, and the music was so loud: The overhead fan in the middle of the restaurant is so loud the employees cannot hear each other! So they are yelling to be heard over the fan, and over the music they turned up. Then some people seemed to busy cleaning so more noise, especially when a big metal part fell on the floor.. ugh Nice people, not their fault, I think the corporation could improve their environment by using a couple engineers or an architect who knew what he was doing. I ate at the counter in Daytona Beach and spoke with staff and patrons, and had no problem.. I went back! Not in this Huber Heights location though.. I don’t remember Tennessee having this...

This waffle house was the worst ever. Me, my parents and my sister who flew in from Dallas decided to eat here this morning. My parents had been here before and said they loved their waitress. She was very friendly. We had no problems with her. But .....the floor that we had to walk through to get to our booth was littered with food and trash. Then as we got our food, everyone was starting to eat and as I was putting salt and pepper on my eggs I noticed 2 big hairs in my over easy eggs. The waitress sent them back and returned with another plate of eggs. Then my sister noticed a looooong hair in her biscuits and gravy. THIS WAS AFTER WE HAD DONE ATE HALF THE BISCUITS AND GRAVY!!!!! We were all so grossed out. My sister left the waitress a $12 tip and she said she would take the plates off our ticket that had hairs in them? In the end she only took off $5 total. 👎 With that being said ...me, my sister not my parents will ever be back at this waffle house or any waffle house for that matter. It just turned out stomachs and would probably not crave breakfast from here...

I don't usually have a lower rating for a place if they help is cooperative and happy family services nice but unfortunately air condition was not working here and it was very warm and the employees showed the strain of working in the heat. they said it was actually cooler up towards the kitchen as they had a fan blowing but it was still hot in the sides and it's a shame cuz I like waffle House. The food was terrific and the waitress gave attention and care even though she looked afraid from the heat, my apologies for the three but it was hot can the manager, waiter explain it has been out for a while and was not expected to be fixed soon. Sorry about that oh, I really like waffle House and I like their eggs over easy and I really like their toast and the hash browns are always good...
