BUYER BEWARE! If you are considering buying a high quality Sealy mattress and/or other brand name mattress, shop at one of the many other mattress/furniture stores in the Dayton area. I do love my Sealy mattress and adjustable frame, my only regret is buying from Sleep Outfitters. The customer service (or lack of) we received from Jody Shaw and store Manager Richard was horrible. I purchased a king size mattress and adjustable frame for over 3200 for two main reasons. One was the many features that Jody Shaw showed us on the adjustable frame including a massage feature and several other settings on the bed remote. The second was the $200 Amazon card that was offered as an incentive. When the bed was delivered the first thing I noticed was that the remote that came with the bed only had 3 settings, up, down and flat which was not what we were shown in the store. We were not even told that there was more than one option for the remote/frame settings. When I called Jody at the store and expressed how unsatisfied I was that I did not receive what I was promised, her solution was to “upgrade” me to another frame for “only” $500 more. She continued to tell me that she explained and showed all the options for the frame/remote when she simply did not. When we purchased the mattress and frame on 2/28/18 we were told that we would receive a $200 Amazon card within 5-7 days. I had to call the store over 6 times before finally receiving the Amazon card on 4/12 almost 6 weeks later. The first time I called I spoke to Jody again who promised me I would get the card within a day or two. It didn’t come. I called a second time about the card and left a voicemail and never received a call back. I called a third time and told Jody to have her manager call me. Soon I received an email from Jody that had a voucher to the sleep outfitters website, not the promised Amazon card. I then went over Jody straight to the store manager Richard who said he would make it right and call me in a day or two. No call back. I called Richard back a second time and he acted outraged that “corporate” had not yet gotten me the card and he would call me back that night or early the next day. Once again, no call. Finally I left an angry message requesting Richard call me back. No call. The next day I finally received an email with the $200 Amazon card that was promised at the time of purchase. Someone from the corporate office did follow up to make sure I received the card. When I explained to her my dissatisfaction with the Huber Heights location and the poor customer service, she was very aloof saying she “would pass it up the chain”. I have been very disappointed with the lack of customer service all the way up the line from Jody Shaw to Richard to the corporate office. Read moreI can't say enough good things about Sleep Outfitters, and the Miamisburg store manager, Aaron Shafor. We purchased a bed from Sleep Outfitters about 9 years ago and it was time to replace it. lI was thinking about buying a new bed online. Then, I realized I should at least try to find my receipt from my existing bed. I did and read that a 10-year warranty came with our bed. I called the store thinking that at best, I'd receive a 10% pro-rated discount off of a new bed. Aaron explained to me that I could submit a warranty claim through Sleep Outfitters corporate office, and if approved, I would receive the full amount of my original purchase toward a new bed. (Aaron even helped fill out the online warranty claim form.) Within a few hours, I received email approval from corporate for the full amount I paid for my mattress & box springs, toward another bed! I immediately went to see Aaron at the Miamisburg store. He helped me select a new bed for a little over $100 out-of-pocket difference. We received our new bed, which was professionally set-up, on the delivery day promised. The delivery crew even took away our old bedding. Read moreBe careful pay attention when dealing with these guys they somewhat explain their warranties and leave a lot of crap out. So make sure that you pay attention and read everything...... Because when you catch them in the lie and you ask to speak to a district manager, he is mia. And you'll never hear from me. Or they pass you off to sleep number. And that's just another joy, pay attention to your warranties. Especially on the mattress, and if you get an adjustable frame, pay attention to your warranties. Because they leave a lot of stuff out, ask them questions like, do. I have to pay anything out-of-pocket when I use the warranty. Does the warranty start over after we upgrade? Because it doesn't they go back to the original purchase date? I found out the hard way they may have replaced my mattress 3 or 4 times But it's because they develop a crease in the middle, and I think it's because of the adjustable frame, I'm not sure but I can't help that. The bad develop decrease. That's not my fault. I did exactly what they said to do. So pay attention to your warranty. Read all of it I don't care if they get frustrated. Are upset read all of your paperwork. Carefully i would give them a zero, but we can't............. Just be leary, and believe about half of what they tell you........
