PetSmart — Local services in Huber Heights

I've always used petsmart for grooming, but this particular grooming salon isn't great. The first time I went, I showed exact pictures of what I had wanted, which the lady said she could do. I expressed that I like 2 months worth of hair to be cut off, as my dog's hair grows so fast. I got my dog back, and saw that the hair was not the length I had asked for. This wasnt as big of a deal, so I ignored it, but I could not ignore the fact that the hair on my dogs lip was still getting in his mouth. I took him back, got it recut for free. I decided to give them another chance, because although the cut was not what I asked for, it was not bad. I took him back, made sure to thoroughly explain what I wanted done, showed more pictures, and told her what size cut I wanted. Picked him up, and it still was not what I asked for. I did not bother to take him back to get it fixed, I just vowed to not go back there again. So, overall, not a bad cut, but it won't be what you ask for. I would not recommend this grooming salon, especially if you are on a budget and can only afford to go...

Grooming gets 5 stars!

Management from today gets 1 star! Today i came to bring back a bag of food. I had accidentally bought two of the regular types but needed one to be prescription. Well, the cashiers are infamous for not scanning each individual item. And the bag of food i brought was not on the receipt flavor wise but size and brand it was. I told the manager that they are infamous for scanning one item for the total quantity instead of each individual item. She insinuated to me that i had stolen the item but that she would give me store credit this one time. I was furious. We probably spend over $5,000 there a year and all three of our dogs are routinely groomed there. Not to mention 2 out of our 4 pets are on prescription diets!!!! So i drove all the way home 20 minutes one way to get the correct bags on the receipt and back to return it. That manager was still very rude to me, the other cashier that was working was awkward towards me and I wasn’t even apologized to. Looks like we might need to start looking for a better place to...

I only go to PetSmart because it’s slightly convenient when I’m down to the wire and complete out of other options. The prices are just alright, and they rarely do price matches anymore. The only pleasant, professional and well trained staff that were at our store have either left our location or moved on altogether, so all that is left are the new untrained unprofessionals and the managers with sh**ty dispositions. They don’t care what you need, and it pains them to make eye contact with you or even (God forbid) SMILE. It is impossible to find anyone should you ever need help, and when you do find someone to ask for help, they won’t know what you’re talking about anyway. “Pet products? We sell those?” So in a nutshell, it’s an unpleasant shopping experience and I would rather pay double for a pleasant experience ANYWHERE else. I have pets because they bring me joy, shopping for them shouldn’t rob me of it. PetSmart Huber Heights is almost worse...
