So My Mom & I came into Macys today to make the hardest purchase of our life for my late brothers sport coat. Ms. Kimmy (neither one knew I took this photo) took charge of the situation heard my Moms needs and even called over a male associate to try on the blazers to make sure my Mom was satisfied. She had no idea my brother had passed but quickly caught on as we were crying because the gentleman was about the same build of my brother. She embraced us with love, hugs & wisdom of what size would better suit his needs. After passing that hurdle Ms. Kimmy happened to pass by the cologne counter where we were told my brothers favorite cologne was discontinued.💔She quickly stepped in & advised the cologne associate of our situation & had her create a sample to ensure we didn’t walk away without his favorite cologne. As we attempted to check out we became frustrated to find out the blazer belonged to a 2 piece suit to which the Macys manager only offered a 10% discount off of $400 for an incomplete suit. Our Angel Kimmy magically reappeared and quickly found another one. We will be forever grateful to Ms. Kimmy who went above & beyond and was an absolute blessing to us in our difficult time of need. Thank you, thank you 🙏

5 stars to Rick—the manager that assisted me today with my purchase for my children upstairs on the third floor. 0 star for the overly incompetent associate that argued me down about a sign that was originally placed and tried to take it down after informing me it was not placed there correctly by her. Long story short, Rick took care of me professionally and with genuine compassion with utmost customer care. I have worked in the industry and know right from wrong when it comes to ethical values. I’m grateful we have our phones at our fingertips because we can catch people in the act. The photo attached is of the inconsiderate associate. If you see her while shopping run and go the other way because if something is on a sale rack, she will try to upcharge and one up you. She definitely needs an enhancement of training when coming in contact with customers because in the industry, you never know who you will run into—a pastor, another sales associate, doctor, lawyer, or president of a well-known business. I will spread the word to local family, friends, and professional colleagues about this associate. I am from Dallas and visit the area weekly for work. Again, thank you Rick!

Former employee I wasn't on triage that day but tired of looking how the store was and other employees passing it up I just decided to clean it up..only one person on triage day, triage is when you go floor to floor putting back all clothing shoes, dressing rooms in the teens and ladies always a mess people trying on clothing especially formal dresses and leaving them with their scent and on the floor for triage to pick up,it has always been addressed that more than one person should do triage but was always over looked...Good Luck Macy's..You were not what was expected your employer skills were awful...That's why they hire and fire ...while they keep the ones that's been there close they pick and choose who they want to keep...just to let Macy's know a lot of us new ones tried to please you asking everyone for credits most people have the chance but refuse due to high cost on being a member or some have no social security numbers..have to do better....sorry,not sorry you let the wrong people go...It's just a cycle that HR needs to address the situation...

I had ordered two items online and went to the store to pick them up. The first order was received on the first floor, great customer service. I was given a receipt and asked to go up to the second floor to the jewelry sections to pick up my second order. When I got to the jewelry section, I was not sure which counter I needed to go to. I saw an associate with a customer, so I waited until she was not longer with the customer to get her attention. I said “excuse me” she replied “ it’ll be a minute” I said “I just have a quick question.” She kept walking as I tried to asked where do I pick up an online order. She said “here but it’ll be a minute.” He tone was not very hospitable, she seemed disturbed. Another associate helped me with my order and appeared nice. She told me to look at my order and make sure I was happy with it, if I needed anything or an exchange, to let her know. I said thank you and began to looking at my order. After a minute or so I mentioned to the associate that I had a question. Her response was “what now?” I was confused because she just offered her help and it was my first and only question after she handed me the order. After seeing the confused look on my face, she tried to rephrase her question but at that point it was to late.

I was tempted to ask for a manager however I had my son with me and didn’t want to escalate the situation. Macys needs to work on their customer service in the jewelry section. This was my first experience however I know a few others who had similar...

I have an issue with the lack of customer service from the guy at the Michael Kors. We tried looking for the sales associate, but found no one. The sales guy in dreds, didn't have a name badge on and he never ask if we needed help. He just followed this old black woman and mumbled stuff. We really thought he was the grandson of the old woman, not the sales guy. 2 other people went up to him to ask questions. He just rolled his eyes and pointed in the direction that they were to find the item. We stood waiting to be helped. Instead of acknowledging us, he went back to the old black woman. Completely ignoring us! I went up to the counter and told him we need the key for the case. He was about to handover the case keys, when his brain kicked in and asked which case we needed. I told him where the Kors wallets and wristlets were. With an annoyed attitude, he shows us 2 wallets. I decided to buy 1 of the wallets. We go back to the counter, where the old black woman is. I told him, he can finish up with her. He says he'll check us out now, because she'll take a while. I'm visibly upset at this point and ready to leave. He then has the gall to just had me the wallet and receipt, no bag. He mumbles something to the affect of he has no bags that size. I grab the wallet and place it in with my prior purchase from Lancome. I'll go shop at another store and close out my Macy's card, if the store employees are continually racist, like this...

I had the worst experience today, I was mad how one of the employee just disrespected my father. He was rude how the way he approached us and mocked at my father. First, the situation was my father had tried to fit 6shorts and after he decided to stay on only 2 shorts. Basically, he left those remaining ones on the fitting room and this employee was over reacting. He told my father that do we do this at home? No right? In a very disrespectful way, rolling his eyes. After he was leaving I heard him making some very rude comments and ill tones. My father had said sorry couple of times with smile and we had placed those shorts back. After the employee went to his customers, he was passing it along what had happened to those customers.

If you are professional person please avoid making comments and making us look a person with no education. Educated or not we are only humans, don’t ever disrespect a person because he or she had made a mistake. I did tell one of the cashier on the end and told her politely that tell that employee had disrespected my father. My parents had a good day so I did not voice out in anger. My rage of anger is going to be here. I had told the cashier, I did not want any person to encounter what we had experienced. Thank you for your time to read this. Have a wonderful day...
