As we were leaving he rushed around the counter to be sure we weren't filling our bag up with goodies. For the past 13 years Ive taken my daughter to Hallmark to buy a special ornament for the tree. Today we drove for an hour to get there because the ones closer went out of business. I can see why. If the ornaments didn't have sentimental value. I would box them up and toss them into the fire. I wanted to see if this location may have the Lamar Jackson ornament I'd talked with the manager of the south Charlotte store so much about. I believe it was Julie who helped me. She was friendly and eager to help. She gave me options for buying the ornament from the wish list.
I was impressed by the selection of the Mahogany cards; this was the largest variety I have seen in a NC store for quite some time.
I returned to the store on Saturday, 10-21-23 to pick up my ornament. Julie assisted me again and remembered me from a few weeks prior. Read moreI just have to write a review of an employee at this location because she showed such incredible patience and kindness to two customers who were so ridiculous and confusing it was insane. I was across the counter witnessing the entire thing, and these customers were literally having her use a calculator to try to figure out what they owed EACH OTHER, and using coupons, discounts, etc, and I’ve never seen two people confuse an employee so badly. All of us in line were like “ that is insanely crazy,” yet this employee was so poised and kind to them. I believe anyone else would have broken down or at least start to get extremely frustrated. Kudos to this employee ( who was a teen, I might add) for handling a situation better than most adults. Her name tag said Macy, and I hope she gets rewarded for her kindness.
