Taxco — Restaurant in Huntersville

We used to love Taxco. The food was good and the prices were reasonable. It seems the quality of the food has gone down as the prices went up. We went there this past Sunday, and it will be the last time. I gave them my debit card to pay and they brought it back saying it didn't work and asked me for another form of payment. I knew there was nothing wrong with my account, but gave them a different card. Meanwhile I logged onto my account to see if there was a problem. I saw that the charge for my meal had actually gone through twice on my account. I showed them and they gave me a cash refund. However, it also went through twice on my second account. They refused to give me a refund for the extra charge on that one. Now I am having to go through the dispute process with my bank. ...

If I can give ZERO stars I WOULD!!!! This was by far the worst Mexican Restaurant I have ever been too. The food was absolutely disgusting and the service was TERRIBLE!!!! I Repeat please do not waste your time and money going there. First I ordered my daughter chicken nuggets and French fries the nuggets were so hard, black and crispy so I asked to have them replaced and the waitress caught a attitude. Then they severed me and my sister tacos with beans and rice. The food taste horrible, I sent mines back but my sister attempted to eat her food after a couple bites she decided she couldn't eat it. One of the best Mexican food restaurants in town. It is, as far as I am knowledgable, legitimate Mexican cuisine. They have never gotten an order wrong, and the manager comes out to greet and seat customers regularly, which shows dedication. The food comes out surprisingly quickly and is always hot, and the prices are quite reasonable for the amount of food you get. The options for spicy-flavor lovers is broad as well, but I typically go for my regular Green Burrito meal, which is fantastic.
