Trudy's Hallmark Shop — Local services in Hurst

For people that care enough to actually seek out a Hallmark store to purchase a really nice card for someone, these places do a pretty good job of having something for every person and every occasion. It is a bit like time travel and I do mean backwards when you walk into this store. I know there is a certain demographic that loves the Hallmark channel and the television shows that go along with it but not everyone wants to have a 30 minute conversation with the cashier about their life and their plans for the rest of the day just to pay for a seven dollar greeting card. It would be nice if someone would train the cashier to understand the difference in types of customers, some of us are on a time frame say, our lunch hour or actually having jobs. Nice enough lady but she just would not stop talking. OH MY GOODNESS!!! Ping is the absolute sweetest employee we have ever encountered here!! We frequently shop here but are known for being the couple that camped out for ornaments. She makes us feel like celebrities due to this. 😂 She has been the one to sign us up for our KOC every year. She remembered signing us up, she remembered who we were, and was even telling new employees and other employees who we were. She is an absolute doll and gem!! Thank you for having an employee that actually cares and pays attention to your customers. I have been shopping at this location for years!!! Everytime I go in there, they can't find me or "my rewards"!!!! I emailed Hallmark and told them to remove my email. They replied to me and wanted a full explanation about my concern. I sent it to them several times. I was told time after time that I have to contact a different department. Then they sent me a phone #. They never once said they would like to make it right. I will not be a returning customer. If your having the same problem, find somewhere else to go.
