We love the Farmers Market!!! It's the best place locally to find unusual foods and elevated ingredients. It's situated right on the river with nice lawn and shade trees nearby, so you can easily find a spot to sit and enjoy the scenery while enjoying your tasty treats. Get there plenty early, you can easily spend 2 hrs there if you walk the entire thing. Also it gets very warm during the day so make sure you come prepared with hats and sunscreen. There are shade trees nearby, but the market itself is situated on the street and leaving patrons exposed to the sun.
All the merchants are good but we personally recommend:
The lumpia and the halo-halo at the Filipino stand (it reminded me of my time living in Hawaii).
The fried plantains and jerk ribs at The Taste of Reggae are very nice (the jerk is not to spicy either!)

It has just gone further downhill over the last few years. With all the backyard "farmers" and real farmers in our area and within a couple hundred miles, you would think Idaho Falls could do a little better. I will still go at least once a year, but it's no longer a once or twice a month thing like...
Read moreFlowers, baked goods, local produce, dog treats, lots of handmade jewelry, leather, metal works, art, local butchers, local oils, and all sorts of food trucks (shaved ice, tacos, wood fired pizza, sliders, coffee, etc.) including more authentic food types than I was expecting Mexican, Jamaican, Italian. July 2025 pricing: Bouquet of flowers was $30, cold brew coffee was $4.75 and garlic herb sourdough loaf was $12. Lots of choices, lots of shade and misters going, live music and the street was closed so plenty of room for families and their...
