The nice lady in the visitor center practicly saved our trip. We were on our way from Yellowstone to Glacier NP and stoped at the visitor center just to use the toilet and get a map. She kindly asked us whewr we are going and when she heard we are going to the Glacier NP she said she knows that most of the park is closed but she called them on real time and told us that ihe park and the area are still burnning and covered with smoke and it ia risky to go there. Other than that she tried to help cancelling the hotel booking and when one did not answer she said they were m/p evacuated. And after all that she helped us arrange a new trip to the south that was excelent. The very helpful attendant provided us with a map & descriptive information about the 11th Street Historic District Walking Tour. It is fantastic!
