Canyon Trading — Local services in Idaho Springs

I was heading out to Vail and stopped for some food in Idaho Springs. There was a wait for our table and I realized I didn’t have a warm layer with me…so I found Canyon Trading Co and was looking around. I found a couple of sweatshirts I liked, a shirt for my son and some neck haters with neat patterns made my purchase and was quite happy with my scores.

I enjoyed the warmth of the high quality sweatshirt I had purchased and was warm all through the night—in the morning as the sun came out I realized I must have left my sunglasses in the store while trying on sweatshirts.

I emailed the store and sent a photo of me wearing the sunglasses pretty much 10 mins before I left them there inside a sweatshirt I tried on! I was so happy when I received a call from Colorado the day after I sent the email…they had my sunglasses and said they would send them to me!

The person was so nice that called me—I offered to pay for shipping and everything but they said there was no need…the sunglasses arrived In perfect condition—Canyon Trading Co. Customer service is above and beyond the standard.

I would recommend this shop to anyone and everyone as they have a great selection of items and outstanding...

This is like any other cute souvenir/swag store in other touristy areas. We were in here for a short time looking at the merchandise and decided to buy a little Colorado Christmas ornament. Other than the nasty attitude of the lady at the check out counter (for literally no reason, as we had no interaction with her other than paying her for the $8 item), everything was as expected. This was the best experience I’ve ever had at any locally owned gift shop. Not only were the selection of merchandise was extensive and unique but the sales lady with the cute Boston Terrier was extremely friendly and went above and beyond to help find the perfect gift for my girlfriend. The comments below must be bogus or not talking the same lady, because this lady did not have one mean bone in her body. I will be returning next time I visit...
